Doesn't seem like it. The last 3rd chapter is from Oct '20 and there hasn't been any new ones on the author's pixiv.

This oneshot is honestly completely fine as it is, i feel like the crux of the work (which is essentially miscommunication), while cute in this short format, would get very annoying very soon if it was a full series. Characters talking past each other is like my number 1 pet peeve in romance stories.

That said I do hope that Ohsawa gets another full series running soon, it's been a while since Hello, Melanchoic ended~

I'm honestly completely fine with this outcome. They both got their feelings out in the open, which was the most important part i think bc both of them had already moved on from their feelings in one way or another. It was just the regret of never getting to tell the other person that held them back. Now they can look forward to the future together as good friends, Yuina is getting her shot at scoring Wakana and we get some nice bisexual rep with Sara.

All's well that ends well imho.

It's serialized in Square's Manga UP! magazine. Latest chapter is 7 part 1, which came out on the 18th of this month:

Release schedule seems to switch between weekly and fortnightly. Getting the raws is probably a pain though, since Manga UP! looks like an app only thing.

Asian Scanlation Sensation just posted the rest of the chapters up to 105 on Dex and announced they'll drop this series (and scanlation in general) :(

I'm not sure how it is in the jap. script but at least as far as the translation goes, Shima technically never said she "only" loves women. So being bisexual is totally smth in the realm of possibility for her.

You’re technically correct, of course, and I did think of that, but this scene really doesn’t feel like a confession of bisexuality:

In fact, as Shima goes on to say, that scene ultimately feels like Ise proposing to Shima. (Both these “set the other one up with a guy” arcs—this one and the one with the married guy from the train—seem weirdly out of place in this same-sex life-partners story.)

I do totally agree that it seems weird. Her coming out didn't read as her being bi to me either, so this chapter does feel p out of place. But then she also gives an actual answer to what she prefers in men (albeit in a way that can be read as her being an airhead and not realizing Ise means "preference" in terms of romantic compatibility), and not something along the lines of "i don't prefer men at all, since i'm gay", like you'd expect.

So i don't know if that was intended by the author or if it was some awkward slipup but ye. weird.

The end actually had a pretty nice and happy subtext to it for me. She puts Nami puts a Bandage on Juri's neck and tells her to absolutely not take it off while they're together. And on the last page it says "..that will last as long as Nami's bandages.", which essentially means they'll be together as long as Juri keeps Nami's bandage on, which is up to her, according to Nami.

Aka happy end, at least that's how i choose to see it.

Eyy she finally actually said what was on her mind, I'm so proud of You. And it only took 33 chapters to make it happen.
I hope this is the start and not the end of her more directly communicating her feelings

Since the group who worked on this seems to be out of commission currently, I could probably edit/typeset the missing three chapters. Been looking for more practice anyway.
