Amusing how people keep talking about Tsuruta. Me, I was looking at Rika all chapter long.

As far as I'm concerned, this chapter is all Rika, Rika, Rika. Every stance, every gesture, every word she says, every cute face she makes. When she said "I wanna feel what it's like to be loved that hard, just once..." I was so moved I wanted to jump into the manga just to hug and comfort her. Sniff, Rikaaa, my sweet baby, please don't be sad!

You mean get back to the scheduled murder of one Evil Editor (™) in a certain manga company?

My prediction:

1) Akira goes to Mayuki and tells her that she has found about the kissing lessons with Rin. She says that she will be the one giving Mayuki kissing lessons from now on.

2) Mayuki totally freaks out -- because Akira is the one she loves, and she wanted to become a good kisser for Akira's sake! But since she can't bring herself to admit that, she accepts Akira's suggestion.

3) Akira has actually never kissed anyone in her life, and doesn't know the first thing about how to teach kissing. Thus, when the lesson starts, Mayuki (who has become pretty good thanks to Rin) ends up being the one giving a very thorough kissing lesson to a dumbstruck Akira.

4) The karmic retribution delivery boy says: "Miss Akira? One large order of humble pie for you!"

I believe this is how it's going to go.

Not romantically... but if you join a fan club for one of your schoolmates, because you think she's SO beautiful and kind and perfect, there's no doubt that you are, in some ambiguous way that doesn't need to be romantic, crushing on her.

The part about how "carnage was avoided" made me think that, actually, violence is surprisingly rare in these manga. (Well, 'surprisingly' if we go by American-European standards, of course.) In a yuri love triangle, you'll practically never find a scene where a girl attacks her rival in love and tries to scratch her face or yank her hair off or something. Japanese people sure are civilized, huh?

The initial third wheel may be a more realistic romantic interest for Yuzu at this rate...

If you mean Sakura, she's kind of crushing on Momo. She doesn't care for Yuzu.

Now to wait for the big conclusion, hehe. I hope the author can wrap up her story in a way that doesn't let us down -- and by this I mean: a way that matches the COMEDY MASTERPIECE this manga has been up to now.

In Japan, class elections use the secret ballot system, so students can vote for whoever they want. And if we are supposed to believe that "Tokyoin was too dumb to vote for herself" then the author is even more incompetent than Jeanne surmised.

Just because a romance manga has one or more yuri couples in it doesn't mean every couple in it is gay. I mean we knew both these characters were either straight or at most bi from the very start, I don't see how people are screaming bloody murder that this was some sort of crazy unforeseeable ending. Without a TON more development first there was no real way to make these two a believable couple living happily ever after.

How rushed this ending definitely sucked but that isn't on the author but rather the publisher.

Rushed ending aside this was a solid manga. I wish it had been given enough time to end on its own terms.

Saeko's character development right now is 100% about how she has fallen madly in love with Miwa (who at first she dated just for fun) but hasn't realized it yet because it's a first for her and she doesn't get her own feelings.
