Now as for the comic itself, I can accept the sudden big boobs and only realizing she's a girl after six months of dating for the sake of comedy. It's funnier if it takes an unreasonable amount of time, and when there should have been such an incredibly obvious clue.

I enjoyed this quite a bit, I hope it gets more chapters. Also these two are just like Yamada and Kase if Yamada was less shy/awkward and Kase was less useless.

Could be. It could also be a way to say that she's already dating someone in the hopes it'll get Kirara/Nuida/etc off her back (which obviously wouldn't work).

Of course, It could be out of genuine affection!... well, probably not. Setsu seems to be pretty fond of Chouko though, so who knows?

I keep going back and forth on whether I like this or not. Rereading it from the start, Liz doesn't seem like as big of an asshole as she did when I was reading as it was uploaded. She's definitely an oddball with some significant issues that need to be worked through, but the parts that seemed really bad before are making more sense now. That's not to say that they're all excusable of course. She shouldn't have slapped Maki under any circumstance. The difference is that I can believe her character now... aside from that "slave contract" thing, but that definitely falls into the "some issues" category and I'll let it slide for the moment because suspension of disbelief. I'm looking forward to the next release though!

I suppose it wasn't her real hair colour? If she was telling the truth and they insisted it be dyed just so she fit in, they could all go die in fire for all I'd care. She shouldn't need to blend in and pretend - but Like I said she was probably lying.

Yeah, this actually happened somewhat recently. A student with blonde hair was told to dye it black even though it was her natural color. I don't remember for sure what the outcome of that story was but I think she was allowed to keep her natural hair color in the end.

Holy shit that teacher, what a total piece of shit. Like... Fujishiro shouldn't have hit him and all but he really fucking earned it anyways. The craziest part is that was actually pretty believable. There are teachers who behave like this guy, uncommon as they may be, and in the circumstances there I totally believe Fujishiro would get that pissed. I would have gotten that pissed if someone said that to my close friend. Especially a teacher saying it to a student. That's fucked up no matter what the rules say about makeup.

Uh. Well, this isn't what I expected would be the subject when I came to make a post. If I may add my two cents, I'll just say that part of the problem stems from what any one person thinks tagging is for. There's (at least) two ways to think of tagging, and both are reasonable.

The first way is to tag with descriptions of the content in a more literal way. This generally requires more tagging and can more make it more troublesome to find things similar to what you want, but can potentially give more granularity in categorization.

The second is tagging based on the story and themes. This makes finding certain kinds of stories more flexible, but has the potential to leave out tags that might be important descriptors to some people.

There isn't an easy solution that would satisfy everyone. Personally I prefer the second method with exceptions for tags that could be considered warnings. For this particular story I believe Yuri by itself is more appropriate than Bisexual either by itself or together with yuri. Outside of the set-up I don't think we've encountered anything that warrants Bisexual. This doesn't mean that the characters are not bi, but rather that (at least so far) it hasn't been a large element of the story. This is as opposed to, say, Ohana Holoholo which has, and very much deserves, both Yuri and Bisexual tags.

I'm not going to say that I have the best idea or anything because obviously that can't be true for everyone, and there's certainly times that require an exception. Just my two cents.

edit: my original comment was going to be that this has escalated much quicker than most manga out there and I am SO in favor of that.

That's quite overgeneralizing and oversimplifying, don't you think? For a lot of them, adoption doesn't feel remotely similar to having blood-related (grand)children. They may also not want to simply "enjoy them from a safe distance".

Of course. My best friend's sister has a daughter, 5 or so years old now, and in her case the entire immediate family is involved in taking care of her. She's an incredibly sweet girl, and the most well-mannered child I've ever known.

I can absolutely guarantee you there was no pressuring to have children in that scenario. I won't say more out of respect for their privacy of course.

That said, my comment was indeed an over-generalization, you're right. From the context of the manga (or... lack thereof?) I jumped to my own conclusion that really is unfair to many people. Speaking so harshly out of frustration or anger is something I try to avoid, although my success rate in that regard isn't always... very good. I truly regret having abandoned empathy and civility as I did, and I apologize.

I'm glad that the Hecatia x Junko pairing got so popular, it has a lot of potential for cute/sad/heartwarming situations like here.

100% agreed. ZUN did a good job with these two.
...Though I guess he didn't exactly invent Junko... even so, TH15 is almost certainly my favorite so far, character-wise. Possibly second to SA, I'm not entirely sure.

A brief glance at the author's twitter makes me think they might just like Hecatia/Junko/Clownpiece. Just a hunch.
