Yay, the return of the Smash crackship!
In case anyone is wondering why this pairing exists, it's because Sakurai (creator of Smash Bros) tweeted out this picture of the two as promotion for Smash 4.

So it turns out theres a fight in Spirits mode where you need to fight Palutena and Lucina at the same time. If you stun or otherwise incapacitate one of them it enrages the other and it seems like they'll do everytging in their power to stop you from knocking them out.
They canon now, yo.
