i feel like age gap stories get way too predictable when one of them is in high school. like oh you're going away for a few years to college and then it'll time skip to when you're a legal adult and you'll both embrace and it'll end on a teary "welcome home..!" i'm just getting tired of this lol.

I totally agree with you. These are stories, we're reading them, we're age-gap fujoshis, the authors should realize it, LOL, most people who are uncomfortable with such romance won't be reading it, they should try and make characters and situations a bit more believable, or less predictable, I dunno. I don't know if everyone in this situation would take the moral high ground like we see too often of lying to themselves that it's platonic and friends and then only allowing themselves to see the truth once the younger partner is older. I mean sure some people must do that, but some must not as well.

But just like you, I like the story and I'm happy to be working on it! YW!

I think it's less a case of pandering to societal norms and more that Nagisa wants to be independent of his parents, so that he can do what he wants without getting the C-block from dad, who clearly seems to dislike Ai. Ai is part of it, but so is his desire to study art, which his father seems to be opposed to.

Basically, the author managed to avoid bad cliches so far, have a little bit of trust in her.

Am I the only one who notices that $1300 for a hotel laptop is insane? That kind of money would get you a gaming laptop with .5 terabyte SSD, i7-i9 processors, nvidia gtx 3050-3060, and 144 hz. Unless the hotel owner girl is actually a hard-core gamer, it would be pretty hard to find a regular laptop with that kind of pricing.

With how this series is going so far, I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way around and Komugi helped her see Rurika in a new light and she became theur friend too.

I feel like the difference wilk be that Nomo doesn't really strike me as the type to say "yeah, sure" to an arranged marriage. At which point, should she say she does not want to part with Aki, it will be a question of whether the parents put her happiness or raison d'etat first.

I am not worried about a bad ending, this author has consistently been dodging the angst and heavy drama.

My question for all of this is

If Shiori killed Hinako's family and Miko knew damn well about it, why didn't she do anything, unless the "I HATE YUO MERMIAD" thing is a play and Miko also wanted Hinako's family dead

How did you get to the conclusion that Shiori killed her family? If anything, it is likely that she saved her from dying.
