I would just like to say thank you for this entire volume. They are all kind and gentle and sweet. Just my cup of tea. If you need any redrawing help, I would love to work on stories like these.
I don’t like Het. That said, Princess Daphie has a really good track record of putting out mangas that I like, and she has read further than any of us. She deserves some slack.
@princess_daphie If you need help, I am available for cleaning/re-drawing. I’m not particularly fast, but very thorough and clean. I can send samples if you wish.
I didn’t get it at all at first, I just trusted that my favorite mangaka would have something real to say. Seeing the last panel I had a completely different interpretation from the ones above. My thought was that they were being held prisoner by some organization and what we were seeing was not the cleaning of a bathroom but the forced cleaning of an abattoir. The previous victims had been tossed to the side in preparation for the next batch whilst our protagonists are doing the capo work that keeps them from being the next set. The blond girl is in total denial and is about to crack. The dark haired girl is trying to give the other whatever hope and happiness she can. Sort of a love story in grief.
I am destroyed. This is my current absolute favorite manga. Sob.
I mean, this is the web version. Nothing is going to happen to this one.
I do hope the serialization will in one of its usual longer and/or extra chapters explain a bit more about what happened right now, though. It feels like we skipped a bit there.
Skipped more than a bit. The sudden interruption was decidedly odd. My all time favorite manga is Bloom into You (which makes a pun in English, but probably not in Japanese).
I was raised on old Hollywood, and am truly a fan of happy endings. Nonetheless, knowing what was coming, I plowed ahead trusting in the author to do their thing. I cried a lot. What a beautiful, beautiful sad story.
