^ I'm curious too. We saw the back of her head when she was a baby and she has black hair. Maybe as she got older, she couldn't show her face?? Remember in the early chapters when Kate got mad at Emilyko for putting make up on her face? I wonder if this is why. I do think she's half shadow and half human.

This was pretty funny (and hot), but I always hate the unrealistic cliche of "beautiful woman somehow can't find a relationship". I refuse to believe a successful and beautiful woman like the MC couldn't find someone just because she's a slob.

She probably works really hard and doesn't have time for a relationship, or doesn't want one.

That and just because someone is super hot doesn't mean they'll find a relationship easily.
It must be hard for someone that looks like a super model to be sure that a person doesn't just want to get into your pants and actually wants a worthwhile relationship.

Anyway, this manga is gold. I laughed out loud when the android said: "I know you're resisting putting your finger in me because you're such a bottom, but..." Hilarious.

I'm reading a webtoon called LoveBot (read here https://www.webtoons.com/en/sf/lovebot/list?title_no=2324).
There's no lesbians. The two main characters are gay men. It's about this guy who works with robotics and, when he updates a robot, he accidentally leaves the robot sentient and asking for his help.

It's really interesting, because the sex bot was being abused by his "owner." The person who bought the sex robot really likes hurting people so they got a sex robot and they wanted one of the MCs to make its reaction to pain "more realistic."

^ Yeah, cloverworks is known for having original endings. From now on with cloverworks anime, I'm keeping my expectations very low.

I'm doubtful we'll even have a season 2. It didn't sell well in Japan.

Yeah, Keke's name is written like Keke in English, but it's actually pronounced "Kuku."

Keke put their names together, and came up with KeKa. It's KuuKaa to pronounce it, but it can also be written as Keka, with the Ke at the beginning being pronounced like Kuu.

Koaru is toxic. Most of the other characters in this manga are everyday people, if flawed, but I find Koaru interesting because of how toxic and flawed she is. I love seeing a casanova type person actually falling in love with someone. I love seeing her struck dumb by Mask. I love seeing her crying and experiencing new feelings.
I used to hate her so much, but now I like Koaru.

I wouldn't like in her real life. I do ship Mask and Koaru a lot, but in real life their relationship would probably crash and burn. There are things in shows and books that are unquestionably icky in real life, but I'm fine with because it's fiction.
I'm fine with Koaru because I like seeing the different, flawed relationships in this manga.

And, as The return of Fuzzy puff said, in real life shitty people can rise to the top. Shitty people can experience no consequences. Sometimes shitty things happen to good people and sometimes good things happen to shitty people. Think of all the shitty CEOs in the world. They experience no consequences thanks to money.
Koaru lives a charmed life. I can see why someone might not want to see that in a manga. Manga is escapism.

On the other hand, I find Shizuka almost as fucked up as Koaru. Koaru and Shizuka's relationship was so toxic.
When Shizuka saw Koaru pulling away from her, she kissed her. It almost messed up Shizuka's relationship with her girlfriend. It's different kinds of shitty.

I like that there are relationship tags on this work. I have one couple I'm not too keen on: Nononon x Yumim. All the others I like. I know ahead of time when I look at the chapter what relationship it's focusing on. Which is nice. Usually I savour the chapters, but with Nononon x Yumim chapters, I know I can read the chapter quickly.

You can do the same thing if you don't like Koaru and Mask. Skim the chapter.

Yeah, I hate how much drama korean manhwas have. Every single GL manhwa I have read is way too angsty for my liking.

I read a lot of angsty manga, but I find manhwa just never let up. They can still be enjoyable, though, but I never really seek them out. It is nice that they focus more on adult life than High Schoolers.

We gonna pretend like angst/drama isn’t in most love stories. Besides there are plenty of fluff very cosy manwhas too

There's such a thing as too much angst. All of the manhwas I've read, most of them recommended to me, have been way too angsty for my liking.

It's all about cheating, homophobia or love triangles.

Let’s be honest here. GL Manwhas have become or are becoming a hell of a lot better than JP GL mangas. I’ve noticed Korean comic authors draw more mature and intriguing stories with actual ADULTS (while there are some high school romances which are nice too.) they really just hit the right spots with story and some manejas would be having some gorgeous art like fr fr

i was planing on not watch super stars since nijigasaki was kind of a let down but god damint there´s just so much memes of keke and now i just wan to see it . Oh shit here we go again

I couldn't get into nijigasaki at all, but I really love Superstar thus far. I recommend you watch it. There are two episodes out right now and the third is coming out on August 8th because of the olympics.

It's so good. The music is nice. There are five of them, so it's a lot more manageable character wise.
And it's funny.
