I really, really don't know where you put this anymore. At first it seemed like it would be "Kase-san with some more drama" as it was generally a slice-of-life story with hints of things going on and being resolved.

Then I thought it was going to be "Citrus but with limits" when the horrible ex was introduced, and that we'd get some growth for and between the characters.

But now... who knows?

Yeah, this was cute, by not by any shot would I call it Yuri. Friendshipping at its very best though! :D

I actually find it rather interesting how some stories just can't get away from the protagonist being a bumbling idiot, considering how many seem to dislike the trope.

That said, this was an interesting one. I was pretty sure the "There's so much more to being a girl than genitalia and if you're not doing it right you're not really a girl!" plot would rustle some jimmies, but I've yet to see any. Just give it time I suppose.

Without really having any idea, I suspect it is that "Aphrodisiac" that continues to haunt her. Then again I have no idea how any aphrodisiac continues to haunt her so long after being taken, but it's the only thing I can see. Poor girl, she's been fixated on the popular infatuation point of view about love, and doesn't realize she's already started falling going down for Nanami.

I always read it the other way around. I read it as her trying to convince herself about it, but now that you mention it I think this is a more obvious interpretation. :P

Honestly, I don't really see what everybody has such issues with. Yeah it is a bit silly, and it isn't hidden gold, but I do enjoy it quite a bit actually. Got sort of a 50 Shades vibe over it... kinda.

That said, I do support Nezchan's headcanon that the Mistress is just trying to cover up her own insecurities.
