Luckily this wasn't entirely the reality, but still, I feel like if Saitou were a man everyone here would be calling them a creep...

she is more likely to flirt with girls, but i doubt the story is actually making Saitou as some one that beds the women in the company LOOL, you are not realistic, how many bloody bi and gay women do you think the company has? all of them? also this is a gaming company, the ratio for men vs women is small, i doubt she had sex with any one of them LAMO, more likely her flirty personality made the rumors go wild

It's not too hard to understand. The girl with a parasol just failed to get into the school, right? And she's just moping around in front of it and pretending like she goes there because she likes to walk with the girl she came to admire. I think that part, where she disappears, is her trying to get her act together to get into the school (going back to hearing the girls he admires is only going to be there for 1.5 more years before leaving).

Yup, this is a good summary. I didn't really find it hard to follow tbh, not sure why people here are complaining about the translation.

A fun oneshot, I wish we got to see more of the parasol girl's jealousy turn into love, but I enjoyed both characters.

I've felt 100% confident this was intentionally textually intended as gay since all the way back in chapter 43, from four years ago. Since then we've had explicit confirmations of gay relationships, gay kisses, every other character shipping Komichi and Erika, and Komichi explicitly saying that her feelings of love for Erika expressed in the video they made are real, not acting. Anyone still afraid they're getting baited is way too paranoid, we're long past the point of no return to denialability lol.

Why does this author only write unlikeable characters that have no redeeming qualities? The issue with doing that is the ending always acts like it's romantic and ok to be this messed up. Sure people can be crazy and toxic in real life but fiction shouldn't glorify it. Imagine someone that was assaulted reads this. Their biggest take away is if you get assaulted and tell your lover they'll just see you as a cheater. This story feels toxic just for the sake of it.

How Do We Relationship is probably the single best ongoing manga about lesbians out there, imo. The main other manga I can think of in the "about lesbians" category and competes in quality is Ayaka is In Love With Hiroko, and that's completed.
