Tonight I got a recruitment tag with Survival+Specialist. It stuck and I got my first Manticore. How does she compare with the other specialists including Red, Rope, and Shaw?

She's pretty hard to compare since they have totally different roles. Manticore's mostly used for slowing/stalling large groups of enemies; she's probably a bit more niche than Fast-Redeploy or Shift Specialists.

Guide on preparing for the upcoming CC event. It's apparently significantly easier than the previous ones, and considering how many people got Risk 25 or higher clears I'm inclined to believe it.

Their Pixiv account still exists, though they haven't posted anything on it or bookmarked anything since 2017. Wayback Machine has [the most recent version of their Twitter from January 2019, so the account was deleted sometime after that. Judging by the "Do not use my work without my permission" message in multiple languages on both their Twitter and Pixiv profiles, they were probably pissed that people were reposting their art.

The next CC shop will have sloth girl (aka one of the best welfare operators in the game), which is reason enough for me to be excited.

I've E2'd W, Elysium, Suzuran and Click, as well as leveled up my E1 6-stars (Aak, Skadi, Phantom and Siege) to about level 70, so now I'm completely out of money now. Out of them I'm not sure who I should E2 next.

This was explained last year, but the reason Mash and Gudako have paint on them is because of Hanetsuki, a Japanese game played at New Years where the loser gets their face painted. Though in this case, it looks like Gudako's planning on painting somewhere a bit lower...

Honestly feels like all of the 6 stars that accompany a limited 6 star always feels slightly more useful i.e. with Weedy being an absolute unit of a pusher specialist and Mudrock being Hellagur but buffer, tankier, and can block more enemies.

Was Aak better than Nian?

Not really, he was more for the memes than anything else. Like, he's fun to mess around with but not necessarily "better" than Nian. That said, neither of them are really seen as essential or "meta" for super-hard content like very high risk Contingency Contract stuff.

When I saw that title, I knew this was going to be good. Seriously, the idea of Dia being a complete shameless pervert is hilarious. And her reaction to Kanan’s kiss at the end was just the cherry on top.

So I actually moved my lazy ass and read the story (it may or may not have anything to do with the fact I couldn't sleep) and I have to say I didn't expect to end up liking W so much. Like turns out the brief moment we encounter her in main story isn't representative of her character at all.

Yay, another person for the W fanclub~ This is probably a weird thing to like about her, but I actually really like how passive-aggressive she is towards the Doctor in her voice lines, what with her knowing what they were like pre-amnesia and all. Also, looking at her 150 trust archive files on Gamepress, I can see why some people ship her with Amiya

Just watched some other people's strategies for MO-1 and yeah, I can kinda see what you mean lol. But still, coming up with your own strategies and winning with them on these hard levels is half the fun, so I don't think it's worth feeling bad about at all.

Also, even though Episode 7 just came out I'll probably hold off on going through it. In addition to farming chips for W, Elysium and Suzuran there's also going to be the special extra drops from all stages starting on Jan 2. Assuming the drop rates are the same, 1-7 will still be the most efficient area to farm those, so I'll probably be farming there for a while too (I needed the rocks anyways, so I don't really mind at all).

Good job! I don't know why you're calling this a terrible strategy, it's honestly more clever than my strategy of just leaving all of the Bladeweavers and Worldcursers to Specter+Nightingale.

After spending all of my orundum and tickets I've been saving up, I managed to get 2 W's, full potential Elysium, and even Suzuran popped up. Sadly no Weedy, but at least she's not limited. All in all that was still "only" 121 rolls so I'm nowhere near enough to get Weedy from the pity shop, but still I'm satisfied.

By the way, somehow I thought we'd be getting a free Thermal-EX for our anniversary in addition to a free Savage, but unfortunately I was wrong. Good luck to everyone trying to get him from recruitment; his tags are relatively rare. I think putting a Specialist tag for 3:50 has the highest chance of getting him?

Alright, I managed to get every last agate from Dragonspine - my tree's up to level 10 now, and as Serenata said I'm pretty sure that's only possible if you collect all the agates from the map and have done all the Crimson Wishes so far. The feeding the foxes and achievement was cute. I haven't crafted a Frostbearer, mostly because I didn't have a spare Catalyst Prototype, but it's probably not that big of a deal anyways since there isn't a Cryo catalyst user yet. I'll probably end up crafting one eventually anyways, just so I can say that I have one.

Speaking of the new weapons, I ended up equipping the Snow-tombed Starsilver I found onto Xinyan. The weapon has a physical dmg bonus substat, which goes well on her despite not being Cryo. Plus I managed to roll Qiqi from the Standard wish, and her skill's constantly applying Cryo means that the weapon's damage bonus works fairly reliably anyways.

Also, it seems like they're considering buffing Zhongli even more - according to this post, in addition to the previous buffs listed his shields will now reduce the physical/elemental resistance of nearby enemies by 20%.

Gotta give these gals props. They identified the uselessness and powered through to a hug and smooch.

But yeah, it can be hard to tell, especially since the commentary doesn't specify whether it's Blemishine or Nearl. I suggested this as Blemishine mostly because of her expression here.
