It seems that way, but doesn't mean she wont do something dumb. This reminds me of that dude Mari breifly dated in girlfriends because she was trying to replace her feelings for Akko. People can do dumb shit even when they know better.

That very much reminded me of the differences between Shimamura's two Nagano trips. You can just see Kurokawa realize whom she really wants at her side there. And seeing how she spent the entire time worrying that he would misunderstand why she picked these clothes, there's no chance she'd say yes.

^^ It honestly makes sense. Uiharu is completely panicking, and Kuroko is her usual horrible self, therefore getting immediately rejected again. Saten, though, going with the flow as always, is perfectly content to just go for it, which of course leaves Misaka flustered as well, especially since she's not one to back down easily either. :D

I'm not a fan of this new age of scanlation teams using the word simp. I appreciate the effort but god does it make me want to roll my eyes out of my skull..

Thats fair, but given how she acted this chapter and their use of other cringier slang in past ones, simp felt fitting.

I mean, what other word could they use that fits that well for her?

Something I could actually understand would be nice, but I guess I can live with this as well.
