Using Magnus on 9.0 wasn't my hardest but definitively top 3, probably losing to the Chaos Kin chapte and the Great Sacred Treasure, didn't spend too much time on Together though so i'm hovering about 130 matches, but i'll eventually pick up on that so i won't be wasting a feather on that one

After an entire week without internet, forcing me to complete Viridi Challenges and beating Yakuza 4 With a 17% completion rate, 'cause it has that much stuff i can finally say that i'm hyped as all hell for Yakuza 5! Where the hell is that release date!?
Also i'm feeling really dumb for trying to cheat my way through Kid Icarus, there's this one challenge requiring to play Together Mode 200 times, then i kept starting matches against the CPU while playing Ace Combat 5 just to get those numbers going up, only to realize that you actually need to play them for the matches to count, damn you Sakurai!!

I'm a player of the team Super Robot Wars and i found Awakening on Casual to be a little similar so i got a kick out of it, i only wish they would at least make you lose some money if any of your dudes died

I remember hard games that gave me trouble while still enjoying myself way better than I did anything else because I had to spend more time in them to really understand them and get into the developers head.

Hmmmm maybe with kickstarter... But it would take way too much, when Kojima finished dealing with Revengance I thought, "Yes! now is the time for ZOE!!" but no... I think they released the HD collection of ZOE just to test the grounds, to see if there are still (enough) fan waiting for it, I guess there wasn't so many.

There's not much of a mistery there, ZoE3 got straight up cancelled because HD collection didn't meet the sales expectations
Why didn't it sell much though? Because Konami fucked it up completely by making a incompetent studio handle the HD port, shit ran at sub 24FPS and had lots of graphic effects missing
It took another studio to do the job of fixing the hell out of it, so yeah now the collection for the PS3 is pretty damn good but the damage has already been done
Seems like the Xbox version is still fucked up though

Only DS game I remember was Spirit Caller, and Syrus trashed me every time, unless I lucked out with my draws.

The 5D ones has a number of random NPCs in the story mode and they're mostly pushovers, they were a good sandbag for practicing things over

Oh boy, got to download ygopro some time ago while Zexal was still kinda new and my poor little outdated Spell Counter deck stood no chance against them new shinny Xyz dudes, Yu-gi-oh's power creep is a thing of beauty
I do have plans of picking up Arc-V Tag Force soon though, then i'll be up to date with the power creep and i'll rain death upon those Xyz bastards who bullied me

Kojima has never been a good writer, he relies on tropes a lot ( to be fair all Japanese game devs do that ). And now they can't stop it, because the Otaku indusry of anime and games have cattered to a small but obssesive fanbase and if anything of the formula changes they get mad. This what happens when you let your fanbase dictate sure a large part of your creative process. It's cool that you know your audience but ultimately it will hinder creativity.

Leaving the quality of his writing aside, i don't think he gets too stuck on styles or anything, MGS2 and ZoE kind of has a similar feel to it, but MGS3 has a completely different style, so is MGS4 and MGS5
If anything i think MGS5 is a little TOO different, he's trying too hard to make things darker and edgier and only now he decides that he wants Snake to be the kind of protagonist that only serves as a proxy for the player to immerse in the world, i don't think this kind of protagonist has a place in MGS

I meant in the context of the war, they attacked vietnan, killed and raped a lot of people, and lost the war, for vietnan they are the bad guys.
