Apparently they released singles for PoPiPa, Roselia, and RAS, each with a BD of the anime before the official broadcast. The other bands don't get their singles until March. And the official broadcast started on the 23rd, and so reach new stuff on the 27th

Well, that was strange. Not the animal ears. That happens all the time in manga. But it just sort of bounced around from event to event randomly? Like, the other girl didn't even show up until halfway through? Felt like it was made up as it went along

Yeah, it's weird. Sequels always make less of a splash than something new, but you'd think something attached to a work as major as MadoMagi would get at least a few people talking. Particularly since it's good

Some nice sweet moments, but the overall narrative was a bit off. Felt like it was building up to something involving the substitute admiral, but it just didn't happen

...Meh? The Nanoha franchise hasn't really produced much of worth since A's. Like, I think the best they've done is the Innocent manga, and that was pretty far from brilliant

And, of course, we don't know what this new project is. Could be a half-assed gacha game that exists solely for whaling

First episode of Magia Record was already great, but second one is simply amazing. Best adaptation I have ever seen and I already consider it one of my favorite animes of all time.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's certainly the anime I've most enjoyed watching for some time. And definitely the best mobage adaptation (possibly the best game adaptation)

Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu is very cute but it's better to not think about it too seriously because the game mechanics are very arbitrary and convenient haha.

I find it being apparently controversial kinda weird since I've literally never seen a fictional MMO that actually makes sense (and this is clearly a comedy). Even Log Horizon is batshit insane outside of combat mechanics

But, yeah, fun, cute series

Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu adapation is very good. And gay.

...It was certainly well-made, but I found it hard to watch. Hardcore fans are creepy. And at the moment I'm not entirely sure the girls like each other romantically (though, given the mangaka, they probably do)

Also, someone on internet said this was going to be a 26 episodes series, however, an more reliable source begs to differ.

Speculation is that it's going to be split-cour. 13 episodes now, takes a break for a season or two, then another 12 or 13 episodes

It's a pretty good adaptation, but I always felt "The Call of Cthulhu" was one of Lovecraft's more middling works

So, Magia Record seems pretty good. Great visuals and direction, writing seems fine, interesting mysteries. No sign of yuri (subtext) yet, but Iroha and Yachiyo are both there, so I'm assuming it's a matter of time

Sometimes I wonder what the border here is for people to consider something yuri instead of subtext? Like, I've seen plenty of oneshots and even series from yuri magazines that are less explicit about the characters' feelings than some of the stuff people complain about just being subtext

So, my issue with KoiAs was that it's supposed to be a comedy, but isn't especially funny. It is kind of bad when it's not focusing on the leads being gay
