I wanted to read this, but seeing that it was cancelled at the source makes me not want to because I know I will just get disappointed that it doesn't have an ending... and from the comments on Batoto it doesn't even have a rushed ending. :|

Maka-Maka was good, but I think it's more on the bi-curious side of yuri.

So it's now fanservice if it's something you would expect to see in a series? Yuri is a romance genre at it's heart, it would be weird to not expect kissing or holding hands.

Its really not that baffling if you know how different Asia is to Western countries. Objecting an arranged marriage in a conservative country such as Japan could possibly lead to a family fallout. My family doesn't do arranged marriages anymore, but if I was in such a situation, it would be quite difficult for me to decline. Not to mention that is a girl I'd be declining for.

As for the manga, I really loved the ending. It was so nice, I thought for sure it was gonna have one of those old-school yuri endings. "Were girls and we have to marry boys and there is nothing we can do."

I bet Honoka would be ridiculously cute if that blushing scene had been coloured.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's a funny set up, but there's no real pay off, like the punchline was missing.

The punchline was one page 2.. but I agree, I wish the chapters were longer.
