It just annoyed me that the end didn't resolve anything after teasing all sorts of complex backstories and developments. The "yuribait" part ... meeh, it's not one of those criminal "bait and switch" cases, so it didn't be bother me that much ^^

If he's working one of their messed up crunch jobs sleeping basically all day on a day off doesn't sound too crazy. When you spent all week working until midnight or so you have to catch up on sleep at some point ^^;

But at least on the information we have to go by at the moment, the depiction of senpai as some sort of predatory child-abuser is not supported by the present evidence. Miyuki is what, two years older than Asuka? And Asuka has known her longer than she’s been friends with Jun and his family—she was shy Asuka’s first peer-mentor/protector.

? Maybe I'm too tired and misunderstand something, but Asuka basically grew up with Jun's family. She's just "temporarily" on a forced break "to develop independence" from them in the current-flashback-timeline as Rui pushed her away a bit.

I never got how anyone liked it, but whatever. I'll just post my contrary opinion and say it's not worth wasting even five minutes on.

It's just classic Chekhov's Gun; come on, basically all stories follow this advise. Unless the author simply brought it up to explain why they don't have children, in case a Japanese readers might feel it strange that a woman in her 30's doesn't have kids, there's no reason to mention them.

But I don't buy that's enough of a reason, so she'll probably accidentally get pregnant; or at least it'll be a major explanation why she got married in the first place, or why she can't be with a woman, or whatever.

I'd be really surprised if this was the only time in the plot kids came up after making such a big deal out of it (talking with the mother-in-law, talking with the husband; and of course also the ex with her kid...)

This talk about kids is very suspicious. Let me guess: now it will actually happen. At the most inconvenient of moments.

I'd be infinitely amused if Koguma woke up next chapter and it'd turn out that Hina after all wasn't able to resist and had done unspeakable lewd things(tm) to her in her sleep.

All of them, naturally. The chapter would begin with a panel of Koguma contently waking up, then zooming out, showing that she's somehow undressed and has bite and rope marks all over her body, before further zooming out to show her room with sex toys and camera/sound recording equipments and various other costumes and props strewn about. Then a panel of a satisfied Hina coming back fresh from a shower, only wearing a towel.

Then Koguma does her usual "Hina-sana baka!" thing and everyone has a good chuckle about it.

Let's just say it's suspicious that this sort of philosophical stance comes up all the time with queer relationships but never with hetero content. You might start to believe that queer-erasure and queer-baiting is actually a thing ^^

Ya, absolutely the same thoughts I had. X seemed like the typical goofy leader (think Vamp Shougun) and now she seems to be more like a dangerous Joker-type antagonist.

The entire "point" of abusive relationships is that the abuser is practically never "just" a messed up psychopath who only 24/7 physically and emotionally abuses their partner. The very "mechanism" of abusive relationships include that they are also sometimes caring and apologetic for their behavior, along with promising to not do it again and so on and so forth.

His gesture is literally meaningless. It excuses nothing, as has been said, but it also means nothing.

People have to understand that genuinely loving someone is not contradicting to also genuinely abusing the same person. If it's abuse, it's abuse. Get the fuck away before you end up as a corpse.

Kill that guy. It's the only solution.

A little bit of a rough release? Chapter 1 has some text bubbles that weren't cleaned up, and there's a bunch of lines that are grammatically wrong or otherwise odd.

Going back to chapter 1 made me remember how Saki seemed to have a bit of a crush on Kyoutaro back the. That's interesting. Although he belongs to Yuuki now.

A lot has changed since the beginning of the manga, but I really don't see that. He just treats her like a convenient friend to have around and she kinda tags along in her usual nervous and awkward self, but I can't say I saw anything that'd pass as "romantic tension" for me ^^;

All chapters without that pointless token male character are to be applauded.
