@muteKi If we are talking the remake, sure she is fairly forward and decisive- but if we are thinking OG classic Aerith then no- she is mild and gentle in personality- tho still very brave and determind. But OG Aerith wouldnt behave like this at all - there isnt a hint of this personailty in her. Its even a big exageration for Remake Aerith.

I'd love a really good Aerith X Tifa manga or fic but this wasn't it, for me.
Didn't like the plot, the characterisations were totally unlike them, and I didnt even like the art much sigh.

There was an amazing big fan fic that paired them up but ive not seen it for like 20yr and no idea what it was called.
It started after ff7 and told in some flash backs how they fell in love during the game, and then in present day how Tifa brings her back out of the lifestream. It was the only really great fic of them - wish I still had it.

Wonder why people here are calling Meiling the dense one when Sakuya spent 8 hours holding Meiling at knife-point asking her whether she thought she was cute and then went to the shrine to boast about it as a confession with completed confidence.

Stupid might not be quite what they mean- oblivious would be a better way of putting it. She seems smart in everythiing but understanding Sakuya's obvious feelings- in that area she is being clueless/stupid lol. Its plain as day Sakuya is being jelous and seeking attention but Meiling seems totally unaware.

@Skydragon0 This Sakuya seems younger than usual, like late teens ? - and very clueless about romance or personal interactions beyond work.

Shame their library isnt quite as flexible as a UK library- we'd let you sign up as a temp account even without ID- you only get to take 1 book though, till you come back with ID to verify your details.

It IS a oneshot- not sure why it says ch1 at top. The mangaka does say they want to do a ecchi followon set years later but its not in the works yet.
