A serenade under the starry skies is quite romantic!

This series is amazing, definitely one of my favorites now. There are so many points of introspection this doujin brought upon me while I was reading that there were too many of them, I'm overwhelmed with how well it portrayed its themes. I'm definitely gonna re-read this again in the future.

The backgrounds were also so vibrant, simply beautiful how much effort went into them, it really made the panels look gorgeous.

Also Marisa wearing no sleeves and a strawhat was something I did not know I needed, but well I guess I know now. Pretty cute.

a sad, but hopeful story. remilia coming to terms with the natural order of life was definitely hard for her, but thats just the way it is. because thats the way it is, reimu tells her to enjoy the present, because you can never take it back. pretty much what i expected for a human-youkai dynamic but its nice and simple.

this artist really makes some comfy illustrations

This pairing really makes for some interesting stories. It takes a big heart to love someone even when you know that they do questionable things. Sakuya probably did the right thing for both herself and Marisa by making distance. I mean, if I found out that my partner killed humans with their own hands, I would be pretty horrified. As an outcast Sakuya does not know where she truly belongs, and her morally-gray actions speak for that loud and clear. But Marisa tells her she still loves her even after discovering what type of person she is. The first time you meet a person, you know nothing about them after all, and this goes for both of them. I dont blame Sakuya for crying at all when Marisa confessed. She really is the first step that Sakuya needed to finally sort herself out. What a great story.
