I don't really see Asahi being any better for Shio over Satou. Asahi clearly isn't all that mentally stable either, and has even less means of supporting anyone. Asahi or Satou, both are bad options.

Just to throw some positivity here instead of all the negativity: I'm liking this. The accent is great. The story has a nice balance of comedy and drama. The characters are entertaining. Good stuff.

I actually like this. Just because the one-shot happened and this will most likely go the same way doesn't mean that's all it will be. I'm hoping we see more of what happens in the middle and after. Plenty of ways to expand the "universe" with new characters and show how the two main characters grow, together and apart(?), yet still together(?). Breaking up also doesn't need to be angsty and sad (it wasn't all that in the one-shot). We've seen the "first love forever" stories so many times already, so something different is always welcome.

Not really fan of stories where one side of the couple-to-be knows the other one has feelings for them, and they have feelings for the other one, but choose to not do anything and wait for the other one to confess, even if it takes years. Still cute enough story.

From what I can tell there is very little yuri this summer season, even just in subtext. I've been waching a large number of shows and the only tidbits of yuri I have come across are in Chio's School Road with brief but explicit encounters with Kabbadi Sensei and some mostly subtext in Dropkick my Devil and Harukana Receive.

I'm I missing any hidden yuri jewels like in seasons past or is this summer really a desert?

Aside from those you already listed, there's Revue Starlight, which is probably the best show this season.

I can see that the author is trying to do something more artistic but this ended up feeling quite pretentious, at least to me.

All girls belong to Queen Yohane's harem.

This could be the start of a supernatural manga where they team up to fight trouble-making ghosts.

The Ring girl wants to live a normal high-schooler life with her new lover, but realizes that she must work hard to protect Minaki's world from ghosts who wish to invade and defile it as she did in the past.

In time their actions alert the ghost hunters, who sees this as a golden opportunity to catch the Ring girl and exterminate her. However, just as it seems the Ring girl will be exterminated, and just as the Ring girl resigns to her fate, Minaki jumps in and validates the power of love. Minaki demonstrate how much she cares for the Ring girl by shielding her from the final blow and proclaiming her love.

Minaki, realizing how much she has changed from being a useless and bored teenager, gathers up her courage and her last bit of strength to confront the ghost hunters. Impressed by her courage and love, the ghost hunters, Minaki, and the Ring girl team up to battle supernatural entities.

Eh, good to know it wasn't that bad in the end. So the real ending is pretty neutral (still leaning towards negative though).

Guys, is Yama no susume worth watching for the gay?

The two main girls are definitely cute and extremely shippable with how they act with each other but there's not any real gay happening (yet). Still, its a really a good CGDCT SOL show.

I decided to check out the ending and its all true. Its rather disgusting how easily she (the teacher) did it, not to mention she was already in a relationship with another woman (Misora). One of the most unbelievably bad endings I've ever witnessed.

Its a bit early to say anything conclusive since most we've heard of about Nikaidou so far has been rumors and I'm betting on some kind of a misunderstanding of the situation between her and the guy with the bike.

Revue Starlight just blew my mind. Definitely the most hypest show this season. If it can keep it up it'll be an anime of the year contender even.

Yeah, I feel this manga focused too much on the fighting game(s) and explaining them too often and in way too much detail. Not enough focus on the characters or story.

Checked out first episode of "Drop Kick on my Devil!" and it just dumps you way into the story without any real character or world introductions. Starts after chapter 38 or later of manga (based on characters who are already in the anime). So if you're planning on watching it, might want to read the manga first up until ch.38 at least.

I expected Asobi Asobase to be standard cute girls doing cute things, but got creepy faces doing weird things. Its quite amusing.

I really liked what this series has to offer. I don't feel like you always have to have constant declarations of love, kissing and hand holding for it to work. Sometimes subtext, when done right, can do much better job than actual yuri-tagged series. "Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru" is another good example of "subtext done right" along with this series. Some times slow and sweet is just what's needed.

Is Gun Girlz universe connected to that of Honkai Impact 3? I'm really confused.
