What do you mean dismiss it? Being ace doesn't mean they can't fall in love. They can be in love but don't want the sex part in the relationship. Aromantic is a different story. Aromantic don't experience the falling in love but in this story the mc simply wants to know the girl better. That doesn't mean she's heart-pounding in love with her.
