Sorry, I know Sumin is a jerk, but have you guys ever wondered why she became one? Did all of her bad actions towards Seju really come from her personality? She does have her other 29 exes, and we never saw her going back to hurt any of them. Poor Sumin, she wouldn't have looked so much like a jerk had she let Seju wait and die alone. :P
well, she always come back to Seju and in return Seju stayed by her side or rather became more obsessed to her and whatever Sumin had to go through with her 29 exes has nothing to do with Seju well, except for the one who two-timed her. I can see Sumin's perspective on why she treated Seju like that but I don't think her reasons are enough to make someone's life more miserable than it was before because of one mistake. Sumin's life turned upside-down when she lost her parents. something that Seju shouldn't be accounted for. it's not like the cheating is the only reason why she became like that.

Every Seju fans are all probably emotional masochist who can relate to her LOL (just joking) I started to love Seju when she finally stood up to Sumin and told her that she's not the only one hurting in their toxic relationship for her to treat her like thrash but then TG swerve us and she's back again to her self-pitying and self-loathing older persona.
Well, it's not that hard to love Seju when Sumin is also a pos. I'm not saying Seju is as pure and kind as Sungji but Sumin can be unreasonable and selfish at times that I can't help but question why she deserves "the healing story" plot. I mean it's not like Seju cheated on her behind her back during the time when they were still together, it was a drunken one night stand. so storyline-wise it is a redeemable act. however it also shows how weak Sumin and Seju's relationship had become at that point and imo this is how Sungji and Sumin relationship should be tested. the problem should come from Sungji not from Sumin. Sungji will just forgive her over and over again but can Sumin forgive Sungji if it she was the one at fault.
and finally according to my observation/analysis. Sumin tends to have longer relationship with women when she's the one topping compared when she's the bottom.

Seju's self-pitying and being overly attached to Sumin are the things she needs to overcome before this manhwa ends. she should learn to love herself for once and find her self-worth. I can't actually believe that Seju doesn't have any friends other than Sumin. it's one of the mysteries of this manhwa lol if Seju has any other friends, they'll probably slap her across the face to wake her up from her delusions of getting back with Sumin and tell her she's not worth it. wasting 10 years of your life waiting for someone that treats you like thrash. maybe a slap won't be enough for Seju, she needs a KO punch lol Sungji might be the friend who will give her one.
as for Sungji and Sumin. it's already obvious that they are going to end up together. Sungji is too good to be true for Sumin to give up which kinda sucks in a storyline perspective because loving someone despite their flaws is like the real measurement of how much you truly love that person. everything is going smoothly between them because Sumin finds her perfect. if she encounter problems with her like she did with her past relationships, she's probably going to leave Sungji too. I think Sumin is looking for someone who will give her emotional security more than anything else and that's what she sees with Sungji.

so Sungji is looking for a reason why Sumin loves her? or why are they even together? lol it's funny cause a lot of readers are also asking the same question since from the beginning. other than the obvious reasons that they are horny for each other and they get along well. is there any other reasons why they "love" each other? maybe TG wants to elaborate on this in the next chapters.
I felt like this chapter's purpose is to give us a hint on what's to come next. I think Sungji is feeling insecure with her relationship with Sumin and it might not be long before she feels unsatisfied with the way they are now. on the other hand, how come Nami didn't ask why Seju has a KT on her neck xD but seriously I hope TG give Sungji a chapter where she would just snap and be unreasonable/selfish for the first time while Seju need to stop self-pitying and over relying to Sumin for comfort. something big really needs to happen to shake things up. well, when minor characters appears on this manhwa, there always seems to be a sh*tstorm on the way.
In my opinion, TG never intended to give Seju a major role in the story. I mean she's playing the part of the crazy ex-girlfriend but because her backstory and relationship with Sumin tells a more compelling story than Sungji whose only problem in life is how to have sex with Sumin as much as she can throughout the whole manhwa, TG doesn't have any choice but to keep squeezing Seju between the main couple to continue the story (and the cash flow) TG should have created a crazy ex girlfriend that can easily be written off.
Sungji's kindness is also reaching absurdity on recent chapters. on top of that she keeps flipping back and forth from being okay with Seju living together with Sumin to being anxious about it. its' like her character is on a dilemma, TG wants to portray her as the kindest person in the whole world but they don't want to make it look like she's just cool with everything. her worries and action doesn't match up. I'll probably find her relatable if we get inside her mind but nope, there's no pov and imo TG should have paid more attention to Sungji's facial expression because there are times when she look robotic and emotionless to me.
anyway, If the next chapter is really the conclusion of the story and it's just going to be another lengthy sex scene then they might as well end it with a threesome so everybody wins!!!

Right now, I don't know if WDTFS is an interpretable story or a product of bad writing. imo, we resort to analyzing every chapter because there is no definitive protagonist and the characters rarely got pov scenes. sh*t this manhwa's story is all about human emotions, we should spend our time relating to the characters while reading it and not analyze it.
there is too much loose ends to the story that it's almost unacceptable to end the manhwa in the next chapter. I think TG will fast forward everything. hopefully though we won't get an open ending because that would totally suck.
Seju clearly cheated, it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. the only thing I find disturbing is that, after all of this, Sumin seems to have more insatiable lust for Seju than before LOL if I was Sumin, I'll probably be disgusted touching Seju again especially after she saw her naked with a guy but not in her case xD
In contrary though, Sumin did admitted that she still has feelings for Seju when she cheated on Sungji compared to Seju who was completely wasted when she cheated on Sumin. but of course, Sungji just brushed it off like it was nothing. she just caught them cheating on her and yet she nonchalantly agreed to let them stay together under one roof xD it all f*cking makes sense lol

34 years of Seju's miserable life and the only thing she needed was a pep talk with Sungji lol
I'm starting to think Seju x Sungji would have been a better pairing considering Seju has more emotional baggage and troubling issues with her life than Sumin. I'm still not buying the "healing story" of this manhwa.
WTF is happening?! so, this manhwa is going to end soon and yet the pacing of the story feels like we're still far away from the ending. it feels like I'm just starting to know the characters better.
and Team Gaji seems to be paying more attention to their characters facial expression which is a good sign because I was hesitating if I should read and support their next projects.
if the readers spend most of their time figuring out the meaning behind every characters dialogue, actions and facial expression. I don't think it's a slice of drama anymore, I think its already a mystery drama novel in the works.
and isn't it convenient for TG to have Sungji perfect as possible. there's no need for explanation or backstory. she's perfect so she's good for Sumin lol what's the need for a plot? xD
MacySan
for some reason Sumin overcame her depression when Sungji became her gf lol I don't think they've ever talk about Sumin's crippling depression because of her past with Seju. this manhwa has superb artwork but it seems the author doesn't know what this manhwa is supposed to be-narrative wise.
Seju has all the problems in the world on this manhwa even though she's the antagonistic figure in the story while the main couple has zero problems. storyline-wise this doesn't make sense at all. how come the antagonist is the one who needed to be save and the one who has a lot to overcome? though I'm glad the story seems to be moving in Seju's perspective but I'm frustrated with the way they handle her. but I guess I need to thank TG for adding more facial expression to Seju. any reader can tell what's she's thinking/feeling by just looking at the expression of her face.

Sungji might be realizing that Seju needs Sumin right now more than ever. but if the main couple is going to break up because of this compromise situation between Sumin and Seju. it's not going to make anyone happy. in fact, the story will look like we're back to square one.
I think what Seju needs to do now is to investigate what really happened to her mother and maybe she's going to find other underlying secrets about her brothers or even her father. the current progression of the story is less intriguing and more frustrating, so imo it's time to dig deeper into Seju's family history and since Sumin is free, maybe she can help Seju with it.
I hope the characters communicate more and stop keeping all their emotions and worries to themselves. I feel like an outsider reading this manhwa rather than me seeing the story to their own perspective. maybe if the characters have internal monologue, we don't have to analyze their every words or actions to know what they're actually thinking.
and I expect that TG will finally address what the three main characters is striving for to have a happy ending. we know Sumin and Sungji probably wants to end up together but what about Seju? what does she need to have a happy ending? Sumin is not an option. so I hope that once she resolve her family issue, she will have the strength to move on
I feel like WDTFS got the plot backwards lol how come the antagonist is the one who needs the journey of healing the most out of all the characters? I feel detached and apathetic to the main couple while I feel sorry for Seju. I hope Seju wont end up in a mental institution. just so Team Blonde can say that Yay! Love Wins!! There really is something wrong with this manhwa's narrative plot.

I don't know why Sungji suddenly acts cold or rather she's not as sickeningly sweet to Sumin compared from before, when she seems fine after she found out that Seju is going to temporarily live with Sumin. what's with the sudden change? did I miss something or what?
I was thinking that Team Gaji only used Seju's family issue as a reason for her to become more unstable, so she could stoop so low that she will be more antagonistic to the main couple. imo even though it makes sense, I still think it's a waste of Seju's character development because she was starting to become more stronger as a person. but it's not bad to see Seju having a fun time trolling the main couple. although, its hard for me to watch Sungji get the upperhand because she got an ace up to her sleeve since she's Sumin gf but I don't want Sumin for Seju anymore. so scratch it, I'd rather see Seju with Nami or Dawoon at this point.
I'm clueless right now as to what direction or route Team Gaji wants wdtfs to end. is this really a story of healing because I can't really see it on this manhwa. we have the main couple whose only concern in life is their love life and then we have a soon to be mental case third wheel character. I don't think I'm going to get a life lesson on this manhwa lol
oh well, I hope the next chapter will pick up the pace because the manhwa is nearing to its end and yet there seems to be a calm before the storm momentum.

isn't it ironic that Sungji is supposed to be the protagonist of the story and yet TG didn't bother to add more depth into her character.
Nora89
Team Gaji's intention of portraying Sumin as a playgirl is to make Sungji look special. which imo they failed to show/explore thoroughly. yup, Sungji is special among morally corrupt characters but its not a good enough reason why she's the fated one for Sumin. it's like any self-righteous character can stand in her place as Sumin's love interest while you can't say the same thing about Seju. although it's satisfying to know as a Seju fan (based on the story) that Sumin can have dozens of gf but she still can't replaced Seju in her life lol
and I can't root for Sungji because she has everything to gain and almost nothing to lose compared to Seju's situation where she has the most to lose and the most to gain in the story. and Sungji is still Sungji at the end of WDTFS. I didn't see any change in her.

Team Gaji didn't left anything to be desired with the main couple. since from the start. Sungji and Sumin has been straightforward with their attraction/feelings for each other. I like couple/pairing that had a hard time confessing/conveying their feelings for each other as opposed to pairings that have everything handed to them. I wasn't even moved when the main couple get back together or had sex for the first time because I didn't think they struggle enough or fought hard enough to be together. love story is only interesting when its tested which is not the case with the main couple.
I don't know but Sungji feels robotic. TG made her look like a saint and not relatable. she can be everything or anything that Sumin wants her to be. she never adds conflict in the story because everything about her is perfect. so I can't say that the main couple had a well-developed relationship because everything about them is positive-too much positive that its almost not realistic. their relationship has more questions than answers and they communicate more through sex or physical contact than emotionally and mentally. Sungji is like an A.I for otakus who find 2D characters as their ideal girlfriend because they will never get angry at you or ask you for anything. her only purpose in the story is to be Sumin's girlfriend. she doesn't feel like a person who has goals and needs in life.
I don't find Seju suspicious. she always take the initiative with Sumin before their relationship hit rock bottom.
I love this chapter and is it just me or SejuxSumin has more chemistry than the main couple? imo it is more interesting to see a pairing struggle harder to become a couple than when they are already together.
TG might introduce the new team leader on the next chapter. its a little too late to pair Seju with a new character but its better late than never. I hope its a girl because if its man. I will be f*cking disappointed.
The main couple is lacking in something but I can't pinpoint it. Its feels like they skip the whole getting to know each other, the confusion and hesitation of falling in love phase and already move on as the happy ending couple. Out of all the yuri couples I've read. Sungji and Sumin had it easy and its one of the reason why I can't get myself to love them as a couple. I can't get the "feels" in them.
I think a part of Seju blames herself for how miserable Sumin's life has become and she feels terrible and responsible for it. I never doubted her love for Sumin but it might be one of the reason why she can't let go of her. There's just too much regrets and what if's in their relationship. Seju and Sumin is "the one that got away" to each other. but right now I couldn't care less about Sumin. I just really want Seju to be paired with another female character by the end of WDTFS. I wouldn't mind spending money on a WDTFS spin-off about Seju and her new love interest. I will certainly buy both the digital and physical copy.

I joined a Facebook group that says very clearly: they are not intrested in ship wars but focus on the Story! (How cool, right!)
DAMN.. I thought the story was directed to Adults.. but I saw there some serious issues and yeah there was no wars bcz they just blindly hate Seju (and the so called "real lesbians") and almost sending Sungji marriage proposals hehehehe... cracked me up, almost looked like high school kind of commentary
I think most Seju fans like her a lot because of how she is the most well-written character with the most intriguing back story in WDTFS. If she was the typical crazy ex-gf, almost nobody will like her and she has too much redeeming qualities for a villain. imo Seju is a anti-villain character.
Sungji is likeable but she's too bland to get me invested in her character while I have love/hate tendency with Sumin. I didn't like that there's little doubt or resistance with the main couple's feelings for each other and there's more build up to their steamy scenes than adding more angles or plot to test the strength of their relationship. there's just little to look forward with the main couple story but they did great as a fan service couple. so I will give them that.
Seju is still with the main couple because WDTFS is a love triangle/healing story. imo it is actually good that the three main characters are finally interacting instead of separating them all throughout the series. besides, if Seju won't get involved with the main couple then there will be no more relevant plot to continue this manhwa and its not like Team Gaji can dedicate the third arc solely on Seju. I mean, how I wish but its not going to happen.
and Seju always have her signature poker face. for a person who live her entire life being ridicule for her existence, I'm sure anyone will develop their own coping mechanism. in theory lol I don't think Seju doesn't care about her safety. she is just not the type to force her needs and wants to anyone else. even when Sumin and her broke up. she didn't pester Sumin to come back to her instead she locked herself in her room. she just keeps everything to herself and it is a good sign that she finally found the strength to fought back her brother. I think a little more push and she can let go of Sumin without anymore regret. seriously its pathetic to see Seju picking up the pieces and be contented with what's left of Sumin's love for her. Seju is like a loyal servant to Sumin. no matter how badly her master treat her. she will always remained by her side lol

I think Seju is already used with seeing Sumin with another girl. those stalking she did in the past really did have some use after all. but does Sumin and Sungji need to talk if they will let Seju to stay in the house just a few feet away from her? the f*ck she could hear everything they said.
I find it cute that Seju was trying to hold her laughter after seeing how Sumin is like a child who needs permission from her mother to let her friend stay over in their house. Sungji's argument is understandable, given that she knows how deep Seju and Sumin's relationship was. any gf will be anxious to agree with this kind of situation. but Sungji doing all those PDA thing in front of Seju was cringeworthy. well, she's clingy even from the start and it was kinda annoying.
I need more interaction between the three main character. I felt the chapter had a smooth and nice pace into it. the highlight of this chapter for me is how Seju look like she give zero f*ck but the truth is, she's dying inside lol I hope Team Gaji create another character to be Seju's love interest. it doesn't matter if it will be just implied in the end but give her a happy ending because I think a lot of Seju fans want WDFTS to be a healing journey for her and not only Sumin.
last edited at Apr 9, 2017 3:16AM
imo, Sumin said that because she didn't believe that the reason why they don't want to report it to police is because of their father's health. she thinks it's just an excuse. it will be a big scandal if ever the news come out to the public and it will probably lead to an investigation. tbh I like that Sumin got angry about it. Seju's brother didn't even want to bring her to a hospital lol

Oh, and unlike many people, I don't like this new twist even just a little bit, this is the move where Seju will be back to the triangle and forever stuck there, I want her to move on and this is totally move back, back to Sumin's circle, back to whatever mess we thought that it's already enough. Why do we have to have Seju in between those two for them to solve their couple problems? It's COUPLE, problems between two people not three, so why do SuminxSungji not solve their problems on their own but have to wait till Seju interfering...again?
it's not like Team Gaji can solely focus the remaining chapters to Seju and like I've said before. the readers who like Seju are the minority and the majority of WDTFS supporters are fans of the main couple. imo, this is a great way to solve the issues of the three main character without alienating any fanbase and I don't think it will be a good idea for Team Gaji to separate Seju's story to the main couple. especially now that there are only few chapters remaining. besides, it's going to be weird that we're gonna see Sumin and Sungji have mushy scenes while Seju is dealing with her own drama-thriller story in the remaining chapters lol the three main characters story are intertwine with each other. it started that way so it should reach it's conclusion between them and not separately.
and SuminxSungji doesn't have any problem at all. so if Seju won't get involved with them. then there won't be no plot to continue the story. Sungji's family is cool with her dating her ladyboss and if Team Gaji focuses the story on the main couple dealing with the social stigma of lgbt people. we might see less of Seju so I'm totally digging this new development on the story. after all WDFTS is a love triangle manhwa and it's finally shaping up to be like it with this new twist.

OMG!! I'm loving this new development. finally, the three main characters under one roof. it will be hard for the author to resolve the issues between the main characters, if they can't get them together with the remaining chapters. so thumbs up to Team Gaji lol can't wait for the next chapters. it will be super awkward between them. I bet Sungji will move in with them. oh the drama and hilarity that will ensue on the next chapters. I'm so f*cking excited!!
imo, Sumin does care for Seju's safety. I think she doesn't want Seju to get the wrong idea on why she agreed to temporarily let her live "in her house" lol and at the same time, she can also get what she wants from her. after all, Sumin is the tsundere type.
and that assassin lady is hella gay. she's like getting wet while trying to marked Seju with the garrote wire. who wouldn't? Seju is f*cking hot!!

Totally agree with you about Seju. I'm not downplaying Sungji's role but her part in the story is limited as Sumin's new love interest and she has the weakest backstory for a heroine, not just in WDTFS but in any story I've read.
Pulse has a lot of sex scenes but at least its tasteful and the main couple have strong emotional connection. contrary to Sungji. I like Erae because she's far more relatable and the readers see the story in her POV but if WDTFS will be adapted into anime. I think I will learn to like Sungji again. I feel detached to her. it might be because she's not relatable or she's too perfect to be human lol she's just too good to be true.
