This is so mellow, such a nice read.

From what I've seen, those problems do flare up here from time to time, but get smothered quickly by the community or through moderation. What people usually do is voice their issue with the subject at hand and leave it at that over a post or two, that is, when the conversation doesn't devolve into an argument. My guess here is that yuri is already a niche; since people are aware of what it's like to hold a minority opinion, they simply let others enjoy themselves without taunting or jeering.

For my personal opinion on the matter, as long as it's fiction, you are free to do whatever you want and I'll ignore whatever doesn't sit well with me, and if it's not fiction, so long as it doesn't harm others, opinions should matter little to not at all.

Im looking for a Manga about a girl who lived alone with her mother who abused/hit her , she had a Father who was living with another family, but her father died, due to circumstances i dont remember anymore she moved in with the other family.

Of course that would be her favorite. I’d like to read a lighthearted series like that, getting build-ups of drama that deflate instantly when the friend reveals she was just teasing and shows little by little how she is increasingly serious about the protagonist.

That would have been my preference. It almost comes across as her doing it just to make a point.

Wasn't that it though? It was the playgirl who pulled the strings to start a relationship and even asked to go out "already". It felt mean-spirited because of the large gap in experience between them, but the playgirl seems to accept monogamy, as we see during the rainy day scene.

Pretty sure this one isn’t on the site. Two high schoolers who are also hitmen, a boy and a girl; the girl is a lesbian and her relationship with a classmate is important for an arc; the boy is her junior and his part of the story delves deeper into the subject of child soldiers/abuse.

I think they are part of an organization and clash with other organizations and the mob.

Hearing your general description of Franxx, I was reminded of Soul Eater; their similarities probably end at one partner being the weapon and the other the wielder, but hey, that's a really good show.

I was wondering if you all tend to reread works as a routine/ritual and why.

I, almost yearly, reread Ebisu-san and Hotei-san and Twin Cake, I simply love the characters and the steady build-up of their relationship in both series. Another one is Girl Friends, my "introduction" to the genre; I still remember waiting for each chapter to be scanlated, though back then I didn't actively seek yuri works. The one that properly introduced me to the genre, and actually helped me find this site, is Delivery, it's what comes to my mind when trying to define the genre.

Finally, this one is a bit strange, whenever I'm away from home, for whatever reason I always end up thinking about Renai Manga and reading at least a couple chapters.

What about you all, anything you simply have to read again every now and then?
