Would there be a way to list releases chronologically as they appear on the front page instead of the way they appear in the Recently Added tab?
It seems like the Recently Added tab lists all chapters that have been uploaded, regardless of whether they are "new" or just old releases, whereas the front page only lists actual "new" chapters.

As someone who visits a few times a week, it can be a bit hard to find recent material that has disappeared off the main page in between visits.

This has been implemented. There is now a pagination control at the bottom of the homepage, to view older chapters by release date.

Page selection box in iOS view would be a good adition.

I do want to add it back in, and do a general overhaul for smartphones. But atm other things have a higher priority.

And speaking of whitelisting and blacklisting... I actually also have a question that may have already been answered. Why is it that users are limited to only 5 (or well, 4 in my case) blacklist options? (It doesn't seem to be an added sum of both the blacklist and whitelist options though, since I have 6 in total, but only 4 in blacklist and 2 in whitelist.) There is probably a reason behind the limit, but may I ask what it is?

Users are limited to five each for performance reasons.

It should be five each, I will check that out to make sure it is functioning properly.

It's currently based on IP.

Just download 1 chapter today, and "limit 8 download per day" appear.
Someone please explain to me, if this only happen to me. Now i can't really follow up any manga chapter without refreshing ip for 24hours.

Are you sure no one is sharing your IP? What browser are you using to try to download? Are you using a download accelerator or something similar to download?

Wide pages often don't scale correctly.

I'll look into it.

The accidental page navigation while typing in the search field is a known thing already.

Just fixed this.

I have implemented limiting chapter downloads to 8 per day per IP.

This isn't something I really wanted to do, but with our growth the past few months it has become a necessity. Image downloading speed has been noticeably slowing down, so that even with preloading you have to wait for the next page to load. We are currently using ~25 TB of bandwidth a month, and it is starting to show on the server.

Ideally downloads would be unlimited, and would even have something in place to facilitate mass downloads. This site has always been a reader first, and downloads will take a backseat to reading when needed.

I'm quite late here, but I finally realized that I could list my pairings. (As in "Read", "Favorites", etc.)

Ya, that was added at same time as chapter notifications. I probably should have mentioned it in here.

A way to clear all your reading lists would be nice (the ones you can't already delete). I've made new accounts because deleting them 1 by 1 would take ages.

I can't remember exactly, but it's not first time that same thing by different scanlator is uploaded, creating doubles.
I wonder if it would be possible to somehow support different versions for chapters? Not sure how that could work though.

For how rarely this happens, its not worth the complexity of having multiple versions of one chapter. For now our policy is to pick the better one, and remove the other one.

Is there a way to suggest tags that don't exist yet? Right now, I can only select from the list.
I'm mostly talking about pairings here - when there's a doujin with some crack pairing that doesn't exist anywhere else, can't suggest it as new tag.

You can't atm. Want to make it so you can, but haven't decided on how exactly to implement it.

"Discuss this" button for tags.

Implemented "discuss this" for all directory items.

I implemented chapter notifications. There is a new system "subscribed" reading list. When a new chapter is uploaded, if it contains any tags (include Authors, Series, etc) that are on your subscribed reading list, it will send out a notification. An email with new notifications will be sent out every hour (unless turned off in your profile), and they are also available in a RSS feed.

Ah, I see. I don't know if this is gonna sound ridiculous but, how about getting a notifications center and the ability to tag someone in a post so that they can reply to a post made by a user. Just a sudden thought.

The notifications center can inform a user that someone has mentioned them in a post. (Yeah, basically like fb)

And maybe adding a 'favorite' function on a manga and whenever there's a new chapter released you get notified.

This is something I am interested in, but it is a fairly large feature. Idea would be to be able to subscribe to series, authors, scanlators, etc you would get a notification when a new chapter is posted under them. Notifications could be viewed on site, an RSS feed, or send an email out. Could do forum topic (or even @ replies) support for it as well.

Forum

• Google search for a Markdown tutorial. Though adding a short tutorial / link to an offsite one would be useful. If one of the other staff/uploaders want to do that
• This is intentional.

Upload Requests

• It did this, but I accidentanlly removed the code that displayed those messages and didn't realize it until yesterday. It should show up again.
• Would be userful, but doesn't really fit with our workflow of upload requests. They get sent to an external site.

Browsing/Reading/ETC

• No reason to remove it. Authors can be tagged with tags, we just haven't yet.
• You can tag tags and they will display it. Like it could be useful "Lots of sex" tags with NSFW, so someone could easily find all the various NSFW tags.

• Probably not. Would add clutter for function that is not frequently interacted with.
• Its on my To Do list.
• Don't agree. What looks good for tag, which can have many many items, won't look good for an Author which will have relatively few items. I do want to update some of these pages to look better, but it will never be to uniform view.

Implemented spoilers tags, it can be done with ==someone will die== which will produce someone will die.

Personally I like stories that take time for a relationship to develop. I'm not as big of a fan as the "I just met you but I love you" "Oh I love you too, let's date" stories.... Everyone felt Sasameki Koto was long, it was a little, but I loved it. Loved seeing the relationship change and develop. Same with Girlfriends. I don't care how long it takes, it just has to actually deliver in the end :)

You can have development without "I just met you but I love you". Girl Friends is the perfect example of that, and its the reason I like it so much. This story they meet, and then they just seem to stand still. No development at all, just static characters in different situations.

I like this manga a lot but I don't see any real development between riko and haru. The art is superb and the new girl that joined the club also looks pretty. I hope the author doesn't make the romance to be too dragging.

If a user has any public reading lists, a link to them will show below the user info in forum posts.

If have separated pairing tags from normal tags. You can view them at http://dynasty-scans.com/pairings, it should make it easier to browse for pairings you like now.

For some of them, the tag is applied to the entire series. Where its meant describe the series as a whole, but might not apply to each individual chapter.
