I find it a bit odd that "More than Friends" has the least connections with other series. Guess that's why you need Kana.

i am like 90% sure the Tatsuya customer is Haru (Kanata's sister). they looked like they were also twins in Twin Sisters and the customer and Kanata have basically the same hair and the same expressions. plus the three of them walk in together.

he probably just has some quirks that are easily recognizable to people familiar with him. people have told me that they can instantly spot me in a crowd based on how i walk, so her recognizing her dad's movements make sense to me.

Don't let this manga make you believe all gamers / playing games is like this. You're never gonna see people rambling about this BS with platformers, RPGs, FPS, action-adventure, puzzle games, etc. Heck not even in racing games. Being so technical & competitive is more of a fighting game obsession. I mean not even ryhthm game pros take themselves that seriously.

ehh. you dont have to go as deep as shijou does to be competitive at fighting games. i used to be EVO tier in Arcana Heart 3 with Fiona (probably worst or second-worst character in the game) and i never once looked at the frame data. you could pick all that frame data up anyway just by playing the game and learning what moves beat what through experience.

and im pretty sure shijou is being overbearing af for a purpose. no doubt theres gonna be a point where mino just says fuck it and plays how she wants to play. neither are wrong though. each approach is equally valid and it is ultimately up to the player to decide how they want to learn and play a fighting game.

im so glad i wasnt the only one that would come up with ways to save school (bus) money to play at the arcade.

If anything, Street Fighter 5(which I really like) is disliked by a number of pros because it is said to be so stripped down, slow and basic and not fun as a result. A number of pros want it to be more complicated. Which I think goes to the argument that competitive games are fun cause I find myself wondering if Gamerbee only cared about winning would he insist the game be harder?

its not that they want the game to be harder, they want the game to be deeper. with how simplified SFV is compared to previous entries, there isnt really much room for creativeness. every character is already figured out and you cant put yourself in your gameplan. in previous entries, you could recognize players by how they played their character but in SFV everyone plays the same.

they are playing cat tekken though. well, unless SFV added neutral auto-blocks and made it so mids cant be low-blocked.
