Somehow this reminds me of a time when I was drunk and I posted a shirtless photo to a WhatsApp group. I must apologize but I don't know how to do it xD

this is why, despite having been of age for quite a while and having imbibed alcohol plenty, I'm terrified of having more than a couple shots LOL

I think being honest with yourself removes you from the VR. the VR is a "story" or analogous to reality; mizuki has repeated many times that the story is a lie

I'm left wondering what the point of that was, but also pondering how detailed the author's knowledge of Pokemon apparently is. How does someone remember two one-off NPCs and link them together...

taking their money—like most children everywhere ever.

Don't tell on yourself like this, yikes. Stealing your parents' money is not normal, especially as an adult already. Scummy as hell

I'd hardly call a fresh 18yo ronin an "adult already", especially in Japan where the age of majority is 20

Very informative, if I'll ever find myself wanting to contribute to the scanlation scene this will be the first guide I'll check out.
With that being said, I remember Photoshop costing a pretty penny and I don't know what kids these days use to pirate software. I guess most of these passages can be accomplished using free software like Gimp too?

Krita is basically an open source Photoshop clone although some areas aren't as robust

Also, wow, I'm surprised AnonBlack is still doing scanlation. It's been a hot half my lifetime LOL

OK, yeah, the marketing thing makes sense when it comes to that take.
It's just been frustrating over the years seeing the Western hemisphere constantly and consistently treat yuri like a more depraved version of the BL (colloquially known as yaoi to outsiders) fandom.

I (although it also makes it less yuri, in the sense that "yuri" as a marketing category is largely about depicting a homosocial as well as homosexual world with the messy interface between genders largely airbrushed out, idealized and streamlined for the consumption of a straight, male audience).

Have you ever been kicked in the shins before?

Also, a bit late to the party but in regards to types of revolutions As much as I enjoy this series I'll definitely say that the politics behind most of these things are pretty sketchy, Inori sensei seems to have a pretty (standard) myopic vision of politics that basically starts and ends with the modern japanese state. I'm still waiting for some solid anti-capitalist yuri, I know it's out there somewhere.

Japanese media is the only media I've seen that consistently does these "commoners vs burgeois" thrope with the commonors being the ones in the wrong.

Probably only being rivaled by the korean media in that regard.

Japanese otaku media tends to be kind of annoyingly enthusiastic about "no one's ever truly evil" yes, but in this case it's mostly being self-aware of the trappings of the genre. Also the commoners aren't portrayed as wrong here, although the resolution is definitely more inspired by Glorious Revolution ideals than by the French Revolution - which to be fair sucked ass and was heavily mercantilist

I like how relatively direct this feels.
Also is that hand supposed to be as naughty as I think it is?

yeah apparently they made a habit of having sex at school.
why does media make that seem so much more common than it is? I mean, I know in high school people would make out and grope each other in the hallways or other areas, but I haven't heard about sex on campus that much. Except for bathroom blowies, what was up with that?

The term is "star-crossed lovers"

No. Star-crossed lovers specifically refers to a short lived love, a bright flash that quickly fades away. The phrase comes from the sight of two shooting stars crossing and then going their separate ways.

Okay, true. Star-crossed lovers does more or less outright state that the love is doomed, which isn't gonna be a thing if we can trust the author

I am concerned. On the one hand, it is very pretty. On the other, Romeo and Juliet was not a romance, so comparing the main couple to them is not a good sign, for at least one of two distinct reasons.

Lol okay yeah that was me being liberal with the translation ^^' The chinese was something meaning like enemies-to-lovers/a couple/rival families so I spun the wheel of my vocabulary and called it a day at 'Romeo and Juliet'.
