I don't get what they're implying here. First that Akagi was a human, then that she was originally an abyssal that was saved? Or that she's currently an abyssal and is having a dream of past times?

When I re-read it again, yeah. I also read it when I haven't had any sleep for a little over a day as well. That probably contributed a little. As for why the backtrack, I thought it was a flashback to show the first birthday when they were together? I don't know xD

When you don't know the language at all, people (or at least I) assume that the author has written it that way. I very much want to learn the language, but for the life of me, I can't concentrate when I'm trying to study it alone. For a couple years now I've tried to sit down and learn it, but for some reason only の stuck in my head xD

No, it's definitely a cliche. The red flush of a fever is distinctly different from someone who's blushing out of embarrassment, and I'm pretty sure feverish people aren't leaping around the room in an energised frenzy whilst stuttering out denials to inquiries into their health.

No idea how anybody can think a blush is anything like a fever. A fever is a symptom of an illness, for one, and it's very rarely the only one.

In manga it's a cliche sure, but you've never seen someone being a little delusional with a high fever? Also it doesn't necessarily equal to you being tired as hell, I for one don't really feel any different when I have a fever besides the feeling of coldness. My face is also very flushed. So really, you may base how fevers are on your experience, but I base it on mine and I know for a fact that it can happen.

Also MacySan, while you have a point about the boobs/ecchi stuff (and even then not entirely accurate). It seems like you've watched something else, because Mirei isn't a tsundere (how did you get that?!) and while Mirei may be weak in human form (which is probably true for a lot of the characters when they're not wielding they're partners, bar Mirei) she is shown to be very strong. Also, you'd go around hugging the people that tried to kill you?

Not really a cliche, quite a lot of times when you have a fever you are more red in the face.

Hmm, you know there is a bit of hope. We were discussing editorial manadate earlier, which may have forbidden him from having the girls get together as a couple given it's not a yuri mag at all. That restriction may not apply to the tank, so while I don't expect anything blatant like a kiss or anything, they may end up together again in a more stable arrangement.

You're setting up yourself for more disappointment xD If he is considering a sequel (like he says he does), it's more likely for them to not be together in the end. It may be a visit for a day or two like they discussed in the one chapter.

It all depends on the Vita game, with how the male protagonist will 'change the world'. Do we know the timeline for that? It could be alongside the anime.

Also something else, if Mirei is 15 now, how far in the past was it during the flashback? They really make it hard to believe that she's 15.

Finally watched the second episode. So Mirei was a real soldier before huh? Guess that explains her experience with handling Ecstas, though I didn't like the implication of the pre-opening scene, it's reminiscent of gangbangs.

As for no males appearing later in the show, why do I have the feeling that one will appear 'wielding' Mirei's friend from the pre-opening.
