Just realised its from the author of the 'She Gets Girls Every Day' series- thats where I recognise the lovely art style from!

I really liked that series but it's not been updated in quite a while- I assume the author finished that series then, or it got canceled?

^Its a fairly common all girls school yuri / s-class situation, girls making 'couples' (not neccissarily romantic) that enter a competition the students vote on to be best couple - i've seen some variation of it in at least half a dozen different manga- and even a few anime like strawberry panic.

I have to say I really like the cute art style and characters :)

@Hey - I'm aware of that, and you are not wrong- though i'd still say her behaviour in this instance was not typical of the stereotype- but either way it does not change my main point, that portraying lesbians as predators actually is very rare in manga.

Err- no? Because if she was a stereotypical preditor she woulda took advantage of her right? She DIDNT do the predator thing in the end- so she was Atypical.

If you mean lesbians as predators is a stereotype- certainly not in yuri it isnt. Of the many thousands of stories on DS only like 10-20 have them- so its very rare in manga.

This is by the WHH mangaka right, and set after it- meaning WHH is finished? Its translation has not been updated in 2 years- I wish some group would pick it up if its not being worked on by a group- which it certainly doesn't seem to be.

On another topic, are sensei's ears meant to be dog ears? Sensei's the only character with ears always like that (some characters briefly look like this when upset, like cats do).

I've looked and even though it says in chapter 1 people in this country have 'animal' ears - everyone elses seem to be cat ears- bar Chiru's mom- her ears look different too- not really like a cat.

^This is true :) She is very passionate- and here we find out she was once an aspiring manga artist but was put down and not given a chance- thats why she hates that crappy editors attitude- and I guess as an editor was the one way she could get into the industry.

Really, even in a supposedly cute and sexy form, azu's abs still stands out. I start to believe those abs are not product of transformation.

Might just be that abs are part of the transformation package, so Ruby got them too. Makes more sense to me than Azu somehow being ripped for no reason.

I dont think Ruby got them- my guess is the transformations match the role- and Azu is a magical knight with a sword- it makes sense she'd need to be physically stronger.

I agree its unlikely they are her natural abs- her friend commented in an earlier chapter that Azu was bad at sports.

^Yeah but she now has like 5k followers- thats a tiny fraction of 200k- who had the chance to follow and didnt- even if lots of them check our her story- i think the vast majority are not gonna vote for her over the person that is the reason they even gave it a look.

Realistically, it comes down to how many besides their own followers will read these stories- how many people read that publishers stories online and have no particular aliegance? Less of them will probably vote than the artists own followers but if there a a couple million who vote in total- then sure, Inko could still win I guess.

But I'll stick by my main reason for thinking she wont- having her win seems like it would put the author in an annoying and unwanted situation to deal with.

(I could easily be wrong- maybe the mangka deliberatley set it up and WANTS that situation, and the next arc deals with Inko sensei trying to balance school and her gf with basically a full time job? It just didnt strike me as the direction the story would go).

I'd rather she did win tbh- she deserves it and I want to see her arrogant prick of a first editor loose.
