There were hints before, but it's obvious now: Onibi-sempai and Mask-sempai are true soulmates. They share a deep bond unique to them. They are ideally suited to one another, and Kaoru should go find someone else.

Perhaps Nao-of-the-Interesting-Hobbies? (I mean, because of the grand reason that she is the only other unpaired girl in the cast, lol.)

It's an interesting speculation. If we assume that Shizuka and Mio will patch things up (the most likely development) then four girls in the cast remain with no firmly established pairing: Nao, Kaoru, Mask-sempai and Onibi-sempai.

Mask-sempai and Onibi-sempai are obviously very close. If we take them as a couple, then Kaoru and Nao must end up together... because there would be nobody else left, and that's the law of romcom, haha.

But if Mask-sempai and Onibi-sempai are to be taken as extremely close friends with no romantic feelings between them, then Kaoru might still have a chance with her Bou-chan. And, if that comes to be, it would leave Onibi and Nao as the last two single girls in the cast. What then? Will they (gasp) get together?

Actually... I'm starting to suspect that this is exactly what the author has in mind. Firstly because of this pic, and secondly because of chapter 150. As you see, "Nao's Fate" and Onibi seem to be connected. Then, Nao's fated one... is Onibi??? Heh. That's some food for thought.

Good catch, my fellow hispanohablante. I didn't really pay attention to that illustration at the beginning of the book, and I didn't examine the list of chapters in detail... which means, I completely overlooked the importance that Onibi x Nao seems to have in this volume. Doh, me.

I'm now very eager to find exactly how Kishi-sensei plans to hitch them together. Because they are not really obvious, know what I mean? One of them is an objectophile, and the other is a huge perv who (last we heard) wants a boyfriend. Not what you'd call a fitting match, hm?

1) Hay algunos villanos en la historia que se salen con la suya y a los que no les pasa nada. Supongo que podemos llamarlo realismo... pero yo habría preferido que los atropellara un camión.
2) ¡Joder con las tragedias domésticas! No sé qué pasa con los manhwas coreanos, que parece que siempre tiene que haber un elemento de tragedia doméstica en la historia – violencia de pareja, violencia familiar, abuso infantil, muerte de pariente/novio/amiga/loquesea. Estos coreanos podrían escribirse de vez en cuando alguna serie a la japonesa, que sea sólo lindura y ternura, sin conflictos ni horrores.

I'll mention once again, though, that the visuals in this series are extremely careful to avoid anything that looks ecchi at all---Hino's memory vision is of what's on Kugoma's panties, not of the panty-clad little bum itself.

The point being that the story is getting lewd (actually, it has been as lewd as this a number of times before), but the lewdness takes place in our heads, not on the page itself.

I absolutely love Warikitta Kankei Desu Kara and, because I love it so much, this is what I have to say: I hope it never, never gets translated to English. Because, if it does, the backlash of hate from the English-speaking readers is going to be savage and horrible and we really don't need to go through a "Kimi wa Shoujo" fanwreck all over again.

Y'all remember Kimi wa Shoujo... right? Such a lovely yuri story, beautifully written and beautifully drawn. The tale of a 14-year-old baby lesbian who starts crushing like crazy on a stunningly gorgeous adult lady – and then sees all her secret wishes come true as this lady takes her to her bed and teaches her all about sapphic sex. The teen girl acts as the narrator and, in the last chapter, several years later, when she's an adult herself, she tells us how wonderful and pleasurable the experience was, how happy she was while it lasted and how sad she was when it ended. She's so clear about that, it really leaves no room for anyone to complain or revile anything. And yet there are 20 pages of angry comments in this forum (that's 500+ posts), most of them shrieking rape and pedophilia and damning this manga to hell. >_<

If WKDK ever gets translated to English, it's gonna be the same thing all over again, only much, much worse.

En WKDK tenemos una relación muy compleja, una profe que desea sexualmente a sus alumnas gyarus, situaciones complicadas con presiones psicológicas y amenazas, y la escena apasionada de Kuro y Aya (tan rika) termina con Aya diciendo que ha sido forzada y que no le ha gustado nada que casi le dieran duro contra el muro. Por supuesto, tenemos muy buenas razones para sospechar que no dice la verdad, ¡y que en realidad le gustó, y mucho! Pero ¿se imaginan como se pondría el típico lector angloparlante, con su mentalidad protestante-puritana, si lee una historia como esta? Yo me imagino muuuy bien las reacciones: creo que, lo menos, pedirían que a Kurosaki-chan la quemen en una hoguera con un cartel de bruja colgado del cuello.

Si con KwS llenaron 20 páginas con protestas y maldiciones, con esta serie serían 50 páginas.

Francamente, me molesta mucho cuando insultan a personajes que me gustan tanto y son tan sinceros y realistas como Kurosaki y Aya. Por eso, personalmente, prefiero que esta serie no aparezca nunca por aquí. No quiero tener que pelearme en la sección comentarios contra todo el fregado foro...

I love it too! Even tho I can understand why some people say it's been done to death, lol. Romantic fantasy novels for women use the trope all the time, the playboy nobody had ever resisted before who obsesses over the one woman in the world who dares reject him. I wonder if it's truth in fiction?

Mio is alpha. I bet she's very possessive and becomes a full on yandere when she finds out Shizuka is an unfaithful lying ho.

Can anyone recommend anything like Kill la Kill but with yuri? Like lots of fun and exciting action, some comedy, and a pinch of drama, but also some lesbian romance. Valkyrie Drive is the only thing that comes to mind, but I didn't really care for it. I guess something a little more serious on the romance side, it felt a bit weak in Valkyrie Drive.

How bad is the tragedy in chapter 6? I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to that stuff. If it's too much of a spoiler, I understand, I'll just deal with it when I get there.

I mean, it's sad for sure, but necessary to the plot and the end will tie it up nice enough for good feels (in my opinion). I'd say it's still worth the read cause this series was pretty good at giving funny and happy bits to keep readers from overflowing with feels, even during the climax

It really is a good recommendation. Kat_2205 is right: Gamma fits your criteria all right.

Just remember one thing: sometimes yuri couples break up, and girls get into new relationships with other girls. There's nothing wrong with that. When you read Gamma, try not to get too invested in any particular couple; keep in mind that, even if two girls are together at one point in the story, they may not be the endgame otp.

(I'm mentioning this because I'm tired of people complaining about certain romantic developments at the end of Gamma that were not what they were hoping for... even though imho everyone and their uncle should have been able to see these developments coming a fecking mile away!!! Geez! Anyway, you're warned, 'k?)

Some girls in this manga have been in obvious pairings from the beginning. But some other girls have been floating in limbo, with no clear-cut love interests. This, however, has been changing: a lot of recent developments are about them.

Nao never had a romantic interest before. Then came that shower scene. ( ͡ꈍ ͜ʖ̫ ͡ꈍ ) This is the first time she expresses a wish for romance! Well, for a bf, actually, but in a yuri manga that's just silly talk. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyway, admitting to herself that she wants a lover, that's a big step forward... but, honestly, I can't figure out which girl should be paired up with her.

Kanae, for a long time, didn't have a special girl. Then she started getting really close to Hibiki, and everyone (even Kanae herself) thought their pairing was a done deal. But then, one day, Kanae saw Hibiki walking down the street arm in arm with her boyfriend – and Kanae's poor kokoro went crack, sniffle sniff. Luckily for her, the author then invented Haruka just to comfort her. This time things should work out right... right? Right???

Hibiki's web of relationships is one of the most complex in the story. She was close to Kaoru and Kanae, but didn't get serious with either of them. She had a bf, but broke up with him. Now she seems to be getting really chummy with Midori. Will she find her one true pairing this time? (Mind you, Hibiki keeps saying she wants a new bf... but what does she know, right?)

Kaoru, at the moment, is still in limbo – seemingly with no way out. Her relationship with Shizuka will never rekindle (as Shizuka has Mio now). Her affair with Hibiki went down the drain. Her affair with Mask-sempai never was a thing in the first place: it existed only in Kaoru's fantasies, as Mask-sempai actually sees her as a lump of dirt. Amusing that the greatest vamp in the manga finds herself without a special girl right now.

In a way, these little mysteries are what makes the piquant of the story for me.
