Oh, I wouldn't say that after the girl specifically chose her clothes in hopes of achieving just this. The novelist is certainly not the greatest person, considering what we know about her usual behavior, but in this one case the girl is more than willing to go along with anything she wants.
I know the ending tends to overshadow the rest of the chapter, but we do also need to mention Evie realizing how (and, just as importantly, why) they really do look like a couple. :D
Wow, the quality of the translation took a serious nosedive for this chapter. This is basically incomprehensible.
It's been pretty bad for a while, but I agree, this chapter it was quite off putting and hard to follow.
How so? I know Windyfall has occasionally had some pretty questionable releases, but I saw nothing wrong with this particular chapter where the quality of its English was concerned...
Also, on that at the top, was the record store open and Mitsuki flipped it to close when Aya walked in? Or was it just closed in general and Aya still decided to walk in?
It's open, the panel where we see the "closed" side shows the view from inside the store. And they're standing outside the store in any case.
Sometimes it helps to talk to other people - in this case, not just her brother's wife, but also Kurumi herself, who is starting to notice her own feelings more after talking about the break-up rule.
