The true worst enemy of Momo is not Shamiko, is she herself.
I love mikan's expression in the last panel. Its how if she was saying "... You really are that much in love with this girl?" and the detail of shamiko's tail is great too.

IIRC in the canon, the second time Shamiko entered Momo's dream. Momo said that she noticed that the Shamiko in that dream was the real Shamiko because she was different than the ones that usually shows up in her dreams. QED: Momo regularly dreaming of Shamiko is CANON.
