On the one hand there are some obvious reservations from being touched, on the other hand there was this scene from chapter 8:

That dot in the chapter number confused the hell out of me... until I realized it's probably just chapters 24 and 25, not the chapter 24 and 1/4 :P

... oh yeah, and the chapters. I'm kinda surprised Mahiro got some backstory, I thought it's just going to be a cheeky nudge for Yukawa to realize her feelings and all that, turns out that's not at all what happened :P

Yes go read it, it's excellent. Easily my current favourite.

Also not sure why no one mentioned it yet - "elsewhere" means Mangadex :P (unless it's understood to be one of these "posting-scanlations-for-profit sites" like mentioned in the forum rules, but I don't get the impression that it is).

Great, she went from one extreme in having an overly critical and possibly ill-intentioned person as her editor to having the opposite extreme; a fangirl who probably won't be able to look at her work without rose-tinted glasses.

I see no issues arising from this. ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

So maybe it's going in the direction of both editors having a say? It would feel weird to just now drop the "evil editor" altogether.

Don't know about you, but it feels to me like nothing really happened in this chapter :P The main premise of the series (with the alternating relationships) goes on for 4 chapters already, and no payoff of any sort in sight... I'm a bit underwhelmed but I'm curious enough about where does this concept will finally go.

• "I would be so sad if no one comes"
• "Well then just work hard so twice as many people come next year"

... yeah I see a small problem with that approach :P

I will echo the sentiment that the ending that basically says "oh btw the reason I'm so cunning is because I played videogames in my previous life" feels extremely out of place, anthology or not.

Hanging the responsibility of your life over someone's head like that is kinda... kinda messed up...
I definitely know people who have threatened suicide after being rejected before, it is decidedly not a cute situation.

The girl doesn't say anything about dying until after her confession is accepted.

You people reading this so realistically do realize that people can't really see other people's life-clocks counting down, right?

Well yeah, I can't exactly blame the poor girl for not knowing that the other girl sees magic death clocks everywhere (so no one really threatened suicide in this scenario), but the implication stays, a breakup for any reason would be a rather heartwrenching thing to consider.

But if we were to go and overanalyze this silly concept further, I think it's worse that now the girl has a proof that her actions in reaction to seeing the clocks actually matter. So now it's easier to blame yourself for deaths of other people since you could theoretically prevent it...

... so yeah, maybe it's way better to just take that silly concept at face value and move on :P

I skimmed through the whole thing just to be sure I didn't misremember, and Mahiro actually had two appearances so far (chapters 2 and 14), if anyone needs a refresher on who the hell that is :P

Last three pages feels like the author suddenly recalled (s)he was supposed to actually make yuri but all the other chapters were already printed...

... but anyway, I liked this a lot. Even though the ending turned out to be way less dramatic than anticipated, with how heavy it tried to be towards the middle :P

I'm wondering what the deal with that new character is, that's clearly not her last appearance but I'm unsure what the author has in store for her...

... or maybe it's not a new character at all? I had a vague suspicion while reading that this might be the delivery girl from the neighbours' story... although she doesn't look very similar now that I looked back to that chapter

Thanks for the heads up, I randomly checked this thread. It's up to 13 now, and I really like how the story is shaping up (while not losing the stupid sense of humour).

I honestly don't see anything supporting that theory... but who knows. I'm certainly eagerly awaiting the next chapter, as you all do, to see how it pans out.

Really? For me I got the whiff of it in the last page of chapter 9 when Fuuka came to the door
Subaru was flustered and trying to fix her hair before opening the door

I mean, when all we had is that one panel at the end of a chapter then maybe that was a possibility, but after the next one it's pretty clear to me that's the face of "oh no not her again". People get uncomfortable for more reasons than having a crush on a person :P

I can't believe so many people seem to subscribe to this Subaru crush theory. I dunno, maybe I'm dense, but all I'm seeing is being extremely annoyed at an old friend of the older sister which now only visits them once in a blue moon.

Like, it's not that weird that younger kids like people that behave all cutesy and friendly, but Subaru now "smartened up" and sees through that shit immediately. Subaru changed, Fuuka did not, she just wants to have a romantic relationship with Asahi, she admitted to that herself when talking to Hinako. Subaru also very much doesn't like being reminded about how much Asahi sacrifices herself for her, she already expressed that sentiment multiple times in previous chapters.

I honestly don't see anything supporting that theory... but who knows. I'm certainly eagerly awaiting the next chapter, as you all do, to see how it pans out.

Fuuka sure got her annoying teacher act down, huh...

... and no, I don't see any evidence of Subaru crush - she's visibly annoyed that their old friend barged in unannounced, and immediately started making everyone uncomfortable. We've already seen that Subaru is really conscious about the fact that Satou works hard for her sake, and here comes Fuuka and rubs it in even more.
Announcing yourself as "Asahi's one and only friend" after not visiting for half a year and in a presence of Satou's new friend is also a dick move.

... so yeah, I don't really like this new character, I possibly hate it more than the characters themselves, it embodies everything I don't like about annoying people. (Which is not really against this manga, it was probably the point to make her look annoying :P)
