Haven't seen that one personally, the one that I was remembering was one where this girl super rants at her friend for his "smartass" way of talking and never explaining shit of what he said and using terms she didn't understand, or something like that, haven't seen that one either but I've seen that scene

As for this chapter of the manga, I always thought this was one of the most interesting ones in the previous manga and the novel. Even more so after recent developments.

Not goona lie, I thought for a second this was a new chapter of the novel, and was so excited to get out of angst hell, but then..

When I got to the part of the LN with the pages upon pages of ranting, I thought to myself "I wonder how they are going to manage to depict this in the manga? It's too important to just remove entirely. Man, I bet it's going to end up being Typesetter Hell."

This is going to be very difficult to adapt into manga or anime form, I guess a big part will be left out, if either happened.

When in doubt the best way to go about it is use the "exclusive" strengths of the different medium I think.

A manga adptation of the scene sounds a bit difficult, what I can imagine is mixing the amounts text with panels focusing on Adachi's expressions and movements, I can only imagine how the poor girl would look while in the middle of the whole thing, maybe mix in previous scenes that get referenced during it. Probably would have to take an entire chapter solely on that moment. The important thing would be too use the entire chapter for it regardless of hoe much of the original text is used, probably would cut it slightly and don't make the chapter entirely text based

For an anime adaptation of the scene most of the weight would go to her VA's performance, depending on how much and how fast she is able and willing to go about it they could kept the whole thing if they wanted, but more than likely better cut the repeating bits, I don't remember the names but some users have similar scenes in other animes in the novel's thread. but like similar to a manga one also focus on Adachi's body, movement and expressions through the whole thing,

anyway, some awkard bits aside, I enjoyed this chapter and I feel like volume 2 has been an improvement over the first one so far.

honestly with the amount of FeMc x Villain fanart out there from the rest of the franchise I am kinda offended there is so little Lusamine x Moon.
(of course the reason is probably that most of those artist prefer m/f, while most f/f artists aren't too into age gap with villains. or something like that I guess)

just read all through all of them and had a pretty fun time, chapters 3 and 5 are my favorite, tho I also wish we could see the story of the mothers from ch.3. Hope the last 2 chapters make it here eventually

I saw a minor spoiler of Vol.8 and just want to know if it's true or not It's said that they're still dating and living together 10 years after the main story. Again it's supossely a spoiler for Vol.8 of the LN so if you havent read it, don't check the spoiler.

I haven't read the LN beyond what sneikkimies has translated but I still read the spoiler cause I have little self control, but
would that count as minor? and if it's true, is that some kind of "flashfoward" to their future lives and then goes back to the present? or it really makes a time skip? and if so, would the story continue in their adult lives or vol.8 is the last one? assuming it's true ofc

I think this chapter may be the best one yet of this adaptation, I think it did a well job of catching the AdaShima tone in the manga format

MRW I realize how long it's taken me to realize that Adachi's seiyuu is the same as Nezuko's

lol the oposite happened to me, I was already finished with kny for a while when I re-checked some of it's VA and then who her VA was ^^;

personally I like the "Momo-like" tone for Adachi, I feel like that fits her more, actually I was hoping they would go for a tone similar to this one rather than a higher pitch one.

Also Adachi's VA also did Noa in Wataten which I really enjoyed, overall she is probably one of my current favorite VA.

Small update on the pdf/epub versions. I managed to get Amazon to stop downscaling images, and those have now been updated to use higher resolutions ones. The kindle cover have also been replaced with the novel versions (someone mentioned about that). This will be the practice going forward, but I won't update the old images here on dynasty since that's too much of a hassle.

The rest of this volume should be out in a day or two.
