(I've never been a christian, but let's assume it's a middle ground, a religion we are both familiar with).. the mere idea of a woman letting go her desires to be intimate and loved by a man she can actually feel physically to be married to another whom she may never meet in her life.. is purely romantic. the trust, believe.. love.. sacrifice and sufferness.. are all part of it.

another side of that.. how believers think of God..they never saw him.. they may never will.. but there's a yearning to be understood by this God and to receive forgiveness and love from him.. they believe in mutual trust: so they trust him to take care of them.. and he trusts them with whatever he gave them to do good with it.. and when they pray, they get this sense of sacred special connection as if there is no one else but them. The bible for them is the letter they received.. they admire and read it with love and respect.. stories that he shares with them.. warnings.. promises.. it's all there.

these are very romantic aspects of religion.. regardless if you believe in it or not, it is romantic nonetheless. And I only talked about Christianity. hehehe..

Sometimes I missed seeing certain things and all the discussion here really adds depth and volume to the story (however Gaji intended it to be); to me the story has sort of evolved into something bigger - I don't know how to explain it properly lol.

Actually in the translation of the birthday party.. we could not capture the exact closeness between Seju and Sumin.. Seju refered to Sumin as "Suminie".. an endearing way of refering to someone like "Sumin-ah" but to a third person. If anyone can connect this to what is mentioned by Orange.. the third point will make a greater sense

believe it or not, I don't consider myself in any team.. other than the reality that I like to ride solo, I work with what's given and how I perceive it logically. I tried multiple times to get into arguments with those who really think that Sungji will end up with Sumin.. their arguments fall apart by their own logic not mine. They say this thread is mostly Seju affiliated, (which I am guilty of for the most part) could someone show me other threads where we could argue respectfully, logically and transparently?

parallelism is being drawn between two sets of three different people - in which case the people involved may make a different decision even though the circumstances are similar. I think that would be more interesting. Instead of just repeating history.

the stairs talk in ch66 (Dawoon X Sungji) is analogous to ch64 bed talk (Sumin X Seju).. the similarities resides in both couple meeting on the wrong point of time.. they had to part ways.. it won't work out if they continued being together at their current state of mind. They have to grow individually then meet again at a better point.
