^Did I ever say she was a straight girl? I said she THINKS she is straight but is really a lesbian and doesn't know it- the other girl is not CONVERTING her- just making her realise her true self. As I said.

And sure, yes, maybe bi not lesbian- but since the manga will obviously end up with them a couple there is no way to guess any possible future interest in guys assuming they ever broke up- so since we will leave them (im betting) in a happy sex filled relationship - I'm just gonna consider her a yuri girl from then on. (assuming we are not told otherwise).

V @sunspawn Says who? nobody needs to say its blindingly obvious thats the whole point of the manga- we know it from reading other works. There's zero point speculating about what she is 'really' thinking like she's a real person in a real life situation when she's a character fulfilling an obvious plot. And that plot is she does not dislike what she is doing hence she keeps doing it, and will grow to like it more and more. THAT is this stories basic premise- just give it a pass if you cant enjoy it.

@sunspawn If we were talking RL yeah but this is manga logic - the girl is 'really' a lesbian and doesn't know it, the other girl really likes her and is using this method to reveal the truth to her- and once she understands they can be happy together. And she actually likes what is happening (though she wont admit it to herself) because otherwise she'd refuse- she doesn't need money that bad.

That is the kind of logic I'm assuming this manga is going with and how it ends up- I could be wrong. So their relationship is probably not seen as toxic at all.

^^ As Sakuya says- its boring if she stops time with Meiling. I.e she enjoys her company - she can't enjoy it for those minutes while time is stopped, so she'd rather not stop time so she can spend more time with Meling (or rather, more time with a Meiling who can be interacted with lol).

@bosto They are fairly similar character architypes I agree- though I dont really mind atm I would probably if they did 10 more lol.

The author might be searching for the right formula by testing/reiterating with web comics before doing one to be serialised- or maybe this is just a basic setup they really like? When we are talking self published stuff there can be multiple valid reasons to make a story- and one is purely for the authors own enjoyment, and anyone else liking it being a bonus.

Gotta say that after the 17th variation on the same theme from this author, it's getting a little stale.

There isn't much similar beyond '2 females of different station' the story/setting and characters differ quite a lot each time.

@icekatze yes but I would say ALL relationships STILL go through the fight and make up stage- its gonna happen before you get to know each other well enough to have done much bond strengthening. Its bound to happen in those first few years as you get to know each other and learn.

Normally I detest sepia tone paper on manga, but for some reason it does seem to suit this series- I didnt really even notice it till the credit page pointed it out for ch25.

That chart Nya-chan posted is interesting. I noticed their is barely any legal implication for the woman being a lot older, only when its a man who is a lot older is it felony and he go to jail- so presumably it would be the female rules for both if BOTH were female? I.e In these age gap yuri, the worst the adult woman would face is a misdemenor charge, no matter how big the age gap? (Well, and probably loosing their job in those where its a teacher etc).

On the one hand we say rules should be the same for both genders- but on the other.. and as a yuri fan, I have a hard time getting mad about it lol.

^ Its not actually true, though- I assume it was when this chapter came out. At least in the anime, there's a time Kyouko quotes 2-3 of Ayano's puns and Yui cracks up.

BUT, when Kyouko says her own puns it has no effect for sure.

I could score pretty highly on that test :) I Don't recall it ever saying why Yui wanted to live on her own though.

p.s On the size graph at the start- I always thought the pres was a fair bit smaller than that, the way the teacher tooks her under her arm and carries her about lol.

^If you compare the current stuff to the earlier chapters, while the art is much better, something I noticed is there is far less yuri and far less mild ecchi stuff. Yes it does. It CAN also just be used by a younger girl to refer to an older girl as well though- without them being related.

In this case they are clearly sisters though.

Im not sure but wasn't it just saying Akane DOES open her eyes, but only when its ONLY Akari there?

With how her eyes are cut off in that last panel, I think the joke is Akane also knows where the VIEWERS are there watching too- so we never get to see her eyes open- she only does it for her sister out of panel, not for us either.

And her being able to 'see' when she is being watched by the viewer is why the chapter is called all seeing eye?
