Shiho has made an early debut in the anime, and I've got to say, my god, her voice is much cuter than I expected! If I didn't know better I would say they picked her VA based entirely on Chapter 47.5.

She's more like a skittish/defensive kitten, so a "cutesy" voice seems to fit the intention.

I think it implies Byleth joined the enemy faction.

Against Edelgard? The comments seem to suggest a happy ending but what I'm seeing seems the opposite, so I'm wondering where I'm getting mixed up.

Depending on whether you pick "I must kill Edelgard" or "I must protect Edelgard" Byleth will either face her or have her back to her respectively. In the last page she has her back to Edelgard and is smiling back at her, which means she chose to side with her.

It's complicated, because the "side stories" were published in parallel of the volumes. The chapters are numbered from 1 to 41 (up to now) on the web, but numbered differently in the volumes and with 4 pages chapters in-between.

But it's all canon as mentioned previously.

Yeah, they changed publications and it seems the new publication allowed them to continue the story rather than restart.

Still, they had to number the continuation starting from "1," on this new platform for various likely business-related reasons. Then I imagine they gave these new chapters their "proper" number for the volume releases. I've seen it done before.

So these are all the newest chapters of the main series, at this point. The 4-page chapters aren't always there--I think they had 1 or 2 of them in the first "transition "volume but I don't remember them later. Could be mistaken, though.

So in the end that means we have a gamer living off her sugarmama prostitute earning. Nana cannot stop being an escort otherwise they cannot afford to live in that apartment. Tsukasa probably has never works not even once in her life thanks to various non stop supply of sugar mamas, plus it seems that if all she does is gaming, it is not that huge an expense compare with jewelry or fast cars.
I just wish the story was not axed, it has so much potential. Nana is the trashiest main character I have ever read for the last 4 years. I wonder why the manga was axed.

Money wasn't a factor in her actions; rather, she engaged in promiscuous behavior due to her insecurity. She wanted Tsukasa's attention.

Despite now living comfortably and having no problems with money (something she says herself), she still feels unfulfilled because her desired relationship isn't progressing as expected. If anything she seems to be wasting money providing gifts to Mayu. She should have the ability to stop whenever, especially since she reaches her limit before Tsukasa seemingly reciprocates her feelings.

Nana always intended to spoil Tsukasa and Tsukasa didn't ask for the apartment, so I wouldn't call her high maintenance--it was all Nana's idea. Nana still has her cam girl stuff, which she turns to in the last chapter for more attention. She gets some negative comments but I don't remember her losing all her fanbase at all. She still seemed fine there.

They shouldn't even do this for the mother. Mashiro has been anything but a bad influence. She's the most sane out of everyone in this manga. Riding everything on Makino passing a test is not a good measure, either.

Nana and Tsukasa seemed to be well after Tsukasa's (Ex)gf showed up and left in anger (so that means Nana wins). They started to live together in a luxury apartment. But later Nana read Tsukasa's phone messages and discovered something that upsets her. She started to sleep with various people. But eventually they were back together and all is well.

But then again, everything I wrote here could be wrong. So check your raw to see how close I get. I don't quite understand chapter 7 as to exactly how they reconcile and be happily ever after.

This is a really odd manga that I wished were not axed. Nana is pure trash, and Tsukasa is a loser that relies on sugar mamas.

There's an Indonesian translation on Mangadex.

If I got it right, Tsukasa is very high-maintenance and Nana needs tons of cash to keep her happy and exclusive. The money she makes posting naughty pics on Internet is not enough. She keeps hiking up the prices, so she ends up losing all her fanbase. She's forced to turn to good old-fashioned prostitution, and we see her going to hotels with her johns and sleeping with them.

And then the manga ends. It's kind of an awkward ending, that makes me think it really was axed. There was still an enormous potential of delicious toxicity to explore here... sigh, too bad. Anyway, the last pages are just as you said: Nana and Tsukasa are living together in their new luxury apartment, and it seems everything will go well between them as long as the money keeps flowing. So, happy end (or something).

I'm pretty sure she meets with other people because Tuskasa is unable to fully commit (because she has her own issues with feeling love) and Nana becomes insecure. Tsukasa is spending a lot of time alone in her room, playing video games with someone Nana doesn't know. The phone scene is Nana seeing Tuskasa still messaging others to meet up (what that means is vague, could just be in the game).

So Nana starts sleeping around to show to herself and Tuskasa that she is also a desired person. I don't remember it being about money or high maintenance. She wants to get Tsukasa's attention but seeing as Tsukasa was still not paying her enough attention (still stuck in her room playing games rather than being concerned with where Nana is going), Nana doesn't actually enjoy it.

She really just wants Tsukasa, even "seeing her" in one of these other women. Eventually, she breaks down crying, wondering how long she can keep this up if nothing has changed when all she really wants is Tsukasa and not these others. In the end Tuskasa reciprocates (wanting to stay together) and Nana is happy. With that, I imagine she'd have no reason to meet with anyone else again.

OK .I have just finished watching EP3. So EP3 covers up to which chapter?

6, 7, and half way through 8. It's going as expected. About 2 chapters and change per episode. I figured we'd have the main four by about the midway-ish point, maybe episode 7. I just don't know when/how they'll end things.

A really good ending too, with an extra in it.

Her leaving would then be a form of running away from feelings that she had but considered to be wrong, thus her last note to Meguru stating that she "won't be able to" live with her. That's probably less the dad banning them from living together and more her thinking that she needs the physical distance in order to get rid of her incestuous feelings. This may have even played a role in her decision to marry relatively quickly.

The most interesting thing will be to see what her impact is going to be when she inevitable turns up in the main narrative at some point.

Exactly. Yeah we're on the same page. All 3 supporting characters (including the sister) could have a lot more to do now. Potentially more interesting.

I'm actually surprised that there was some real incest going on between Meguru and her sister, but I guess one could've foreseen that. Also feels quite heavy on the younger sister angst here, interested to see how that will continue.

Yeah that shoe was always going to drop. Glad it finally did. Now things get more interesting.

As for Kasane, we know that she 100% would be ecstatic about being kissed by Meguru for any reason, so it's a bit of a loss for her to be asleep for that occasion.

I actually don't think Kasane would be happy for the kiss, if she knew the complicated feelings and dependency that's fueling it and I think that's what'll make things compelling. Now the friends of both women retroactively seem better constructed. I can imagine many ways those two could involve themselves in this dynamic, positively and negatively (both good for a story).

So the author posted on their fanbox a few days ago. From what I can tell via machine translation, the commercial series will be cancelled due to poor sales. Last chapter will be ch. 17.

However, it seems like they are planning to continue working on the series. Their editorial department has given them permission to publish new chapters on their fanbox instead. They also mention that they've been considering creating an official english translation of the series, though who knows if that'd get approval after already seeing poor sales with the JP version.

It's fun because you know there's no real threat. That's the point of it, normally. As long as people understand that, than it's just a "cute situation," that you can read casually, watching as it forces our main two into funny situations. The acceptance of that dynamic might be different for different audiences, I guess. Personally, I just want there to be variety, since normally the in-between stuff plays out the same. The idea of it is fine though.

I don't have an issue with this per se, but how the hell did she recognize Nagisa? I'm going by manga logic with this one. In the first chapter, before the "transformation", she looked very different.

She was in the audience during the culture festival (chapter 24). We saw her in one panel watching our girls perform. She was in awe and I'm assuming she was a fan of Nagisa then. So, this isn't new. It was always waiting to come back. Edit: just noticed someone else mentioned this as well.
