Technically she hasn't even seen that, since here eyes were closed. On the other hand, metaphorically speaking she also hasn't felt what Hino's hand could really do yet. They barely scraped the surface, if you will.

I know this is a big moment but all I could think was that Hino's heels are really accentuating the height gap. Poor little Koguma.

Her legs seem almost silly long as-is, the heels are a bold addition.
Also she looks really nervous and bashful IMO.

Also, seems like our little bear has finally become aware of her feelings.
So their relationship wouldn't just have changed if Hino had kissed her. It has changed regardless, because now they are both aware that it's not just about being naughty.

Maybe, but then again, Nakano's not exactly on board with being a romantic partner in the first place. More like "aromantic partner" than "a romantic partner", if you pardon my loose usage of the term. Like, I feel that she's completely aware that they're all trying to get romantically involved with her, but she doesn't seem to have any real drive to be with any of them.
She's not averse to the idea, and I guess she'd envisioned the situation being "nothing serious" for a while longer, but now the pressure might set in.

I think it's burns. They were hinted at earlier during the festival arc, but this is the first time they're shown "in all their glory".

At this point, they could be in the midst of hot, ardent sex, and Koguma would still be thinking, "But does Hino really like me that way?" The only thing this series likes to do more than trolling Koguma is trolling the readers. I'll believe nothing until it's explicit.

...in the next chapter it would show up that they were actually only exercising and it was just a play of the angles.

That reminded me of the first scene of Agent Aika (the OVA), which I was probably too young to fully grasp when I first saw it...

Really, the greatest trick Tarou-sensei could pull right now would be not deceiving us: an actual kiss, because none of us really believe that it could actually be true right now. We've been conditioned to not take what Hino does and what we're shown at face value (just like Koguma), and the greatest payoff will eventually come through not fooling us.

It is indeed almost eerily peaceful in this thread, considering how much traffic it has.

Then again, it's not a drama-series, so "Morality debates" (though I think there was some of it much earlier) and most "Critical debates"/"Interpretive readings"/"Plot theories" (aside from maybe Hino's family situation) seem to be off the table.
"Shipping wars" is kinda out because there's, like, four characters in total that I can think of, two of which are a "designated couple" and shipping Omichi with either of them or, even better, Kogumom hasn't really occurred to anyone. Those two also haven't met during the series I think. :D
We do have a lot of "Plot predictions", which basically revolve around how Tarou-sensei is gonna pull the rug out from under us this time—fun times—and basically voicing our sorta-masochism in that.
While there have been some mild discussions, no "Tagging wars" have broken out.
There have been "Comparisons with other series", but no discussions really ever evolved around those.
Extratextual stuff (like this) also hasn't been all that plentiful.

It's as you say: "Approval" and "Prediction" mixed with "y u do this to us" and "just get married already" make up the bulk of it, and I think that's beautiful.

PS: I wasn't here before YagaKimi's anime adaptation finished, and I probably wouldn't be if it hadn't happened.

Regardless of which fakeout it's gonna be, it'll be frustrating in the best way possible.

Sure, it's been going for a few years and has 92 chapters now, but 3600+ posts in the thread is nothing to sneeze at. Not even Futaribeya or Hana ni Arashi have as many posts, though then again Bloom into You has more than twice as many :D The power of having an anime adaptation I guess?
