A promising start, and interesting art to boot. No idea what direction it's headed, but I'm plenty willing to go along for the ride!

So, I dropped this a few chapters ago. Today I just happened to check the latest chapter to see if the story had gone anywhere interesting, and, well...

I guess I'm gonna start reading it again.

I'm so Hapi to see more Yuri of these two. They're a Constance reminder that IntSys didn't drop the Balthus with their character designs. The whole aesthetic of the Ashe-n Wolves made me want to Byleth the DLC as soon as it released!

Do they have a negative connotation in Japan? What equivalent establishment in the U.S. has the same reputation as Manga Cafes? (Comic Book stores with cots?)

There's no real equivalent I think. Think some place that rents private rooms with a computer and a padded floor (or desk chair, there's various versions) as well as a huge old manga collection and some variety of convenience store foods for sale (and often free soda/coffee as well). They're generally quite clean. They also have showers.

There's at least one establishment I can think of that also has padded rooms, but I suppose it's not exactly the same thing...

...it's just a similar thing.

I dunno, seems to me like she's just looking at a picture of her girlfriend on her phone to hype herself up before what I would guess is either a job interview or just going to work. I guess it's possible her GF died, the story is certainly pretty melancholic up until then. But I don't know about reading that much into it.

The fact that the senpai only shows up in a picture and a flashback gives me the heebie jeebies.

Somehow that's not what I thought Shy was trying to get Spirits to say.

They'll probably talk while fighting. A big punch to the face is a much more effective way to end a sentence than a period. :P
