@Jayxnoir kindred spirits on the roof is by far the best imo- its expensive compared to regular vns- BUT thats because its not like 6hr long more like 35 and very well produced. It has multiple ongoing couples, and is voiced very well.

Be aware its more like a kinetic novel than a 'game'- very few choices, but its a great VN- assuming you are ok with schoolgirl yuri. It might be the only yuri game on steam with an 'overwhelmingly positive' review rating.

OshiRabu: Waifus Over Husbandos is very nice too imo.
Hmm, Lilycle Rainbow Stage!!!, the flowers series, Yumeutsutsu Re:Master.. I forget the names right now but Im sure theres other great ones.

Join the steam group Hella Yuri - its got about 30k members- it is just for finding and listing games with yuri.
Go to the curator tab then click view store tab. On the left you'll see the lists or different types of games and recommended games etc, and they will bring up the lists, with a line or 2 for each game.

P.s there are tons of other sorts of yuri games not to be ignored if you like those kinda games- like dating sims and rpgs.
Lots of good yuri in the rpg catagory!

Some rambling thoughts about Steam reviews. There are decent amount of Yuri games on steam that have 90-100% positive reviews but are listed as "Very Positive". For example "A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986" is Very Positive at 383 reviews at 98%, recent reviews are Very Positive with 15 at 100%. I think it has to do with the quantity of reviews, but Steam's review system is weird honestly. Kindred Spirits has Overwhelmingly Positive with 702 reviews at 97%, no recent reviews listed. The first Flowers game is Overwhelmingly Positive with 880 reviews at 97%, however it's recent reviews are only Very Positive with 22 reviews at 100%. Waifus Over Husbandos is Very Positive with 2,791 reviews at 88%, recent is Very Positive with 17 reviews at 94%. Which makes me wonder with more reviews than Kindred and Flowers combined if Waifus would have an Overwhelmingly positive rating around 95%, if it had about 700-1000 (maybe up to 1500ish?) reviews like the other two games. I'm notably in the states, and unfortunately I don't know if these reviews and statistics are different for other countries.

Anyhow, sorry for the rambling. I personally find review information interesting, but I might be the only one that does. I think the TLDR version is that the review system on steam is wonky. Plus well the whole user review system is flooded with all types of reviews, for example there's helpful in-depth ones, meme ones, there are often many that are only 1-3 words of praise or hate. I'd say if you're uncertain about a game then waiting for a sale isn't a bad idea, but Steam also has a decent refund system (if you've played a game under 2 hours, and I might be wrong but I think within 2 weeks of purchase?). Also I'd definitely second the recommendation of the curator, "Hella Yuri", they have helpful information about a wide range of games.

In closing, getting back to the manga at hand. These two are so incredibly wholesome, and somehow they only get more wholesome as we progress. Thanks for all the hard work on this series!

@Kirin I mean even before gacha games were popular we had series like K-On and Lucky Star that were very popular. So it's definitely not anything new. Also "better than" is kind of relative to one's own personal tastes I'd argue. Cute girls doing cute things and Isekai are popular because there's a large amount of people that enjoy them. While most Isekai aren't my cup of tea, I'm happy for the people that do enjoy them. For me I'm enjoying this series so far, it's been a miserable year and I just need some cute fluffy things with positivity to pick me up. If you don't enjoy it though, that's also cool. To each their own as they say.

Let me put a happier spin on things here. Maybe this is after they make up, and Silence is giving her a new feather to reestablish their bonds.

The portrayal of kids being terrible and the general gas-lighting, in the beginning, was pretty good, but the ending felt too abrupt. She decided not to accept their halfhearted apology and she got over her infatuation with the one girl, but that felt like it was only the start of conclusion, not the end. It's not like she doesn't have to deal with them any more and she hasn't gained any actual friends or really found a way to deal with her loneliness.

Ultimately, I would have liked at least one more chapter, so we could have gotten a bit more of her character arc, or at least some idea of how everyone else reacted to her rejection.

I think the point was that we can take a pretty accurate educated guess. The rest of her time at the school was probably rough and lonely, some more bullying because she decided to go against the grain and stand up for her self. The story jumped forward to say, well she made it through the shitty times and found happiness afterwards. I think the author maybe didn't want to dwell on the bad times even more, instead they wanted to say, hey growing up can be pretty rough and lonely, but you'll get through those times.

The angst is honestly pretty realistic. Kids are often shitty to each other, and adults to each other as well. In my experience at least, with situations like what she was dealing with it's unfortunately not uncommon for people to try making what they're doing seem harmless, and then you start to feel like you're the problem, not them. It's a very bad place to be, especially when those people want to make up, and you have to ask your self "is it better being alone"?

Damn. Comic Cune is brutal. Are they just purging the yuri to reorient the magazine? With Ayakashiko gone, that leaves boob manga and Bright and Cheery Amnesia. And that latter has totally dropped any pretense of a plot.

I feel like I'm out of the loop I take it a bunch of series got cancelled?

Also I mean while B&C Amnesia doesn't have a "plot" direction exactly, I at least enjoy it because it's super fluffy. So I hope it doesn't get cancelled.

Also don't forget that height gap and the like can be a hell of a thing regardless of age. Some people in their 30s can be shorter and look younger than some people in their 20s. In terms of at least height, imagine a woman the height (5'10) and age (30) of Taylor Swift dating a 35-40 year old woman that has a height around 4'10-5'2. With that scenario there could be up to a foot of height difference.

^That as well. Another thing is that there's constantly drama between a lot of the big name old school Youtubers, Twitch people as well, but Vtubers? They're almost always very supportive of each other, and feel good.

^I don't really understand what there is to "get", it's light hearted & wholesome entertainment in a really hard + depressing year. You either enjoy it or you don't.

I feel like alcohol would absolutely wreck your vaginal ecosystem, but what do I know

She's an oni, her blood is diluted ethanol

This. People keep trying to bring up the logic of how alcohol would be bad for the vagina of a magical fantasy creature that doesn't age, and explicitely sexually climaxes because of alcohol. Basically TLDR: It's fantasy people, don't think about it super hard.

@Linterdiction Bless you. I fully agree with everything you said, the dynamic of this picture is great especially when you know the characters.

Also for the person complaining about this picture, a large point of Kabedon is a character asserting their dominance, or at least attempting to. You might hate it and find it tired, but there are those of us who love it and are grateful for fanart like this. I mean heck, I'm honestly just grateful for more Fate Yuri in general so I'm definitely not going to complain.

BB likes her cheats and messing with protagonists, so it wouldn't surprise me if BB could some how alter her height just to do this, and help her top Gudako.

Alternatively I view this as current day, based on the scar on Lappy's eye I think so anyhow. Texas picked up her old habit of smoking because of sleeping with an old flame, and Lappy looks tame because Texas tamed her all night.

What Aquwin said. People like Bruce Timm have been drawing ship "fanart" of them since forever ago, and them being coupley is definitely not anything new, just something DC danced around confirming for a really long time. Luckily the times are at least a bit more accepting so they finally confirmed it a couple years ago.

I see the comment section is a mess like usual, and people that have problems with prostitution still aren't avoiding works in this short story collection, and the prostitution tag. So another typical day on Dynasty, or maybe I should say the internet since people constantly refuse to skip/avoid things that they hate, and instead choose to complain that they exist.

We will be translating the sequel, maybe I should've specified that in my first post. It should be out sometimes next week.

Awesome, thank you!

Not really buying it, Sango's weird. Would this count as prostitution or pay for gay?

She's primarily hired as a maid, and in the story both characters are said to love each other, with no implication to imply otherwise. So I don't think this qualifies for prostitution or gay for pay, regardless of if you personally buy it or not. Plus EVERYBODY is weird, that goes for me, you, and everyone here. We all just have to find someone out there that matches our "weird", and in the case of this story both characters (and the author obviously) love their breast play/fetishism.

This was super wholesome. The rich girl has some problems, but her girlfriend will help her smooth them out. Plus the rich girl communicated and apologized at the end, which I think shows that they do genuinely care about each other.

Just saying, I don't recall anyone ever complaining when a guy was introduced in Girl Friends ¯_(ツ)_/¯

To be fair, it doesn't seem that the complaint is necessarily that a guy is introduced. It's that he seems more like a plot device than an actual character. There are ways it could be interesting, but yuri manga is filled with terrible male characters that only exist to make the choice between them and the female love interest really easy. It's too early to tell if it would end up like that though, and I feel like the author deserves the confidence they can do something interesting with it based on past work.

The big thing is that Girlfriends wasn't extremely angst and melodrama driven. It had some drama, as romance stories normally do, but nothing on this level. The boyfriend in Girlfriends was a short and temporary period of the characters figuring themselves out, sorting out their heads. Which is entirely fair in my opinion, and Girlfriends was fine with the male character. The problem with Useless Princess is that it's constantly trying to drum up excessive melodrama and jealousy, for what really feels like no good reason and it's exhausting.

@You cant hear image they say: Maybe I'm stating the obvious or something you already know, but if you're talking about the very original Fate Arthur, the prototype design, he's an entirely different character. Or maybe you're talking about the myths & stories of king Arthur that all of this is based on. Either way, Artoria herself wasn't originally a man within the context of her character and the story. She looks good in suits I think in part because she's got handsome qualities to her. Some of her handsomeness might stem from her having to assume the role of a male figure to be the king. For this she has to pass as a man so people don't find out that the king is a woman, and the king is a "man" with charisma.

Edit: Also I mean a lot of women just look great in suits, at least I think so anyways haha

Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the series - @TctyaDDK I don't know if in the series it really counts as...age gap? Since it's weird. Papika got reset and turned into a baby, the same age as Cocona. So she lived life once to adulthood, but then she was basically reborn and is the same age as Cocona in her "new life". I think it's tricky to say if there's an actual age gap between them in the anime. In this art sure, since this is obviously adult Papika.
