I've seen more than my fair share of images where the characters look at the viewer rather than at each other, and I've really disliked those. This..is a different take on that angle, lol.

I'm so late to this whole series, but I'm glad I at least found it! Love this first chapter already..time to go read the original series..

This feels a bit different from their usual stuff. I think it's the slightly slower pace and the non linear story structure in the beginning (with the flashback) that does it. The not-as-clearly-defined top-bottom dynamic is also a shift I see here- You also gets some while she's on top without them completely changing position.
I like it a lot, actually.
