Asuka is finally making her move.

Just finished reading through the whole thing. The anime is better with the pacing and expanding some scenes so the narrative flows better but the manga is still a pleasant read.

Miyako and Koko totally need to get married tho.

I finally picked up the Mexican edition of Citrus. Same size as the Seven Seas version but oddly enough, is slimmer. Both volumes go to chapter 4 with the Citrus+ extras.

The Mexican version comes with a dustjacket and a pretty generic cover underneath. Maybe for those who want to hide while reading it? Their Girlfriends edition was the same.

No pin-up with the cover in the Mexican version, but the paper is the glossy one, making it look and feel better than Seven Seas'. Not bad for the price (roughly $10 bucks at the current exchange rate) although the volume itself is somewhat pricey compared to all the other mangas released here, that are around the $5 mark. The only other manga close to Citrus' price are the oversized JoJo volumes, and those aren't glossy paper.

^^That seems like a pretty poor read of the other's characters, especially Asuka's. My point still stands though, Ucchi hasn't done a real effort for knowing the true Tomoko. Yes, Ucchi has issues on her own to work out but she needs to understand herself first, before hoping to aspire to make something meaningful with Tomoko.

Ucchi's obsession is precisely why I'm not a big fan of hers. Her interest in Tomoko feels shallow since she's not really in love with Tomoko as a person but rather, she's in love with the twisted version of Tomoko she has built on her head. And so far, she hasn't done the effort to change that and actually know the real Tomoko. In that sense, (once again) she's the opposite of Asuka, who started talking to Tomoko with a misguided impression of her and quickly came to know, and accept, the real Tomoko. Until Ucchi doesn't take that step, I can't consider here as anything but a gag love interest.

Now the question is, what did Asuka say at the end?

I still think that Glidesloe is just Sabu's puppet account.

I never expected to see this author here. That said, there are some lesbian undertones on his works, like in Mai-chan Daily Life that surprisingly, gets referenced in the sequel years later. Het is still most of his output tho.

Also, is shocking to discover he's one of those artists whose work becomes less polished over the years.
