Now that April's fool is over and all that, and also since the actual serialization started appearing, I gotta say that while I expected something else, I'm still satisfied with what we got.

Also, I already love Capricorn and Cancer (that's... A weird thing to say). I hope their adoption efforts will pay off.

What? Holy crap, this was a very "all over the place" first chapter. But the weird part was that I didn't really feel confused by it. I'm also glad we didn't have to wait for the next chapter/drinking party for the reveal of "who" the person at the hotel was. Considering how obvious it was, if it was kept as some fake secret, it would just be obnoxious.

I like it, can't wait to read more

I'm not sure what's going on. Is Akko bored and Diana offering to summon a tentacle monster to spice things up...?

So we reached the point where they have to face the past. This issue was growing and expanding in the back and just waiting to explode. Not that I'm complaining, considering a similar type of story, here at least it's not something out of the blue and something that anyone saw coming from a mile away. Not sure what Nagisa thought would happen. Let's not control the discussion about how their encounter messed up Nagisa's future, by not allowing her to attend the first choice school. Instead, let's allow the girl who already feels like she's a burden to everyone around, to discover it by herself, so she can fully blame herself for wasting Nagisa's effort.

If it sounds like I'm dissatisfied, I'm actually not. I think that's what makes me like Nagisa. She might be smart with her books, but she's so dumb in any other way. Am looking forward to how this will play out.

Ah yes "Now that I have pushed the plot forward I can take my leave". Although I'm happy about that. I was getting worried we'd get Kobayashi's Ogre drunk or something...

Current chapter aside, considering the gap between it and the last chapter we got, I was "forced" to re-read it from the start, and I won't lie, I really like how Indou changed. It just shows here and there, but it's a nice thing to follow.

As for the current events, our dear auntie is obviously in the wrong, but I can understand why she's acting the way she does. It's a lot of feelings pilled together. It doesn't help that Indou looks so much like her mother, with a little bit of projection, our dear auntie probably sees her as such. It's most likely a little purgatory for her, where she has someone who, in her eyes, is like Chiyo, as if the past came to visit. At the same time, she tries to atone for some sins that she self-inflicted upon herself, while being constantly reminded of everything from the past, desperately trying to avoid the same thing happening. It's like she's attempting to rewrite time, without actually being able to do so.

Now again, I know she's in the bad here, but it's just... I'm not angry, just really sad about her. I do hope that things go well for Indou and Kagami. I also hope that our dear auntie comes to her senses as well. The latter is not because she's an obvious barrier between the happiness of the two, but because I do hope she herself finds some peace.

What's with all the ghosts and spirits in yuri as of late? Regardless, this looks nice. And not a lot of room to mess a premise like this.

The classic "Nobody can hurt them except me!", I'm sure nobody will over-analyze that cliche in what seems to be a fairly lighthearted comedy manga.

Anyways, even though I think I can guess where this is going to go, I think it'll be an alright story.

to be fair she does just say that Ryou is hers and she won't let anyone lay a finger on her. Not really any mention of hurting her. Unless I missed something.

I like the title. You think it'll be about one thing, but in the end, it kind of gets you.

It's a neat story with how sad it is, mostly because of the unresolved issues on both sides. I wouldn't mind a sequel just to see where those two would end up in a few years. Be it to deliver a more happy ending/conclusion or to solidify how utterly screwed they are. Both ways would work.

Now, this is a chapter I've been waiting for. While I accept and enjoy how this story is being told, I won't lie I'll take this silly fluff between Matsuri and Miss Sunflower over any kind of side characters and/or backstory.

So are we going the usual way? They feed her, she likes it and decides to move in "because she has to convince Ibuki to go home" But she's in for the alcohol...

Now I liked the ending. Once I settled for what it was. I knew it was coming too. Well, I knew it was coming in some way or form. But I won't lie that I am a tiny bit disappointed. While the bittersweet ending was in the cards, more and more obvious, I hoped for at least some "family" life after the promise rings are shared and after that, and I think most importantly, some more wholesome "living" end for Heath. This story always just felt like it was set up to create a place for Heath. It felt like Lilly was aware of the short life span of herself and wanted to give something lasting to Heath. It just felt like the ending could have a bit more meaning, is all I'm trying to say. Even this prospect of Heath traveling just to "tell" about her adventures to Lilly makes it feel more bitter than sweet. It's like the moral is to just wait till you die once someone you loved died before you.

Oh well, I enjoyed the story and I accept this ending. It's a good ending for this story. I just wish it had a moral to go with it.

First of all, poor Miku... But she was sacrificed for Yuri so all is good. Or just left behind in a bookstore all by herself. Same thing really.

Also, this extra chapter was what I was hoping for all this time. Maybe not to this extreme, concentrated level. The dance in the last one was nice too of course, but at least here there was some ongoing "plot" between the two main characters. Even if it was avoiding meeting each other eye to eye. They were interacting, it had a cute conclusion and it didn't break the formula of wanting to save/preserve yuri.

Soo... Just to make it clear for little dumb me. What everyone thought would happen, happened, and Heath was left alone cause hoomans age a lot quicker... Or well, die at a younger age. I get that part. But at the end there, did she die at Lilly's grave?

All this juicy info we got from the CN event... New solid arknight ship. Well, people already sort of shipped those two... But now we have justification for doing so! Or something... They're great is what I'm trying to say.

If only... Unless Kobayashi is at least a tiny bit more proactive in the manga. The only thing I watched was the anime and I read the spinoff manga about Kanna

I vote for a threesome... Unless that's already how we'll decide the winner.

Huh, I thought this would go for at least one more volume. I initially thought this was an ending that was planned from the start, and since the author was told it was the last volume they just went with it, but reading that note at the end, I guess they were happy to even get this far. At least that's how I understood it.

This was fluffy from the start, and it ended that way even though it had a harem-y setup and concluded without a harem ending. Sure, it wasn't anything absurdly special, but it was a comfy read and I can see myself going back to this in some time, just to smile.
While I usually hate the "everyone gets everyone happy ending" I liked all of the "main" girls and was worried one of them would get the short end of the stick, and even then, the ending wasn't that way at all. They got their feelings out and when it wasn't answered, they decided to slowly move on. It was an open ending for a lot of them, but with a big and clear sign of where it would go from that point on.

It was just a nice, warm read. Was it unique or stood out? Nah. But would I recommend it? Definitely.

I'm wondering if this odd "relationship" between the brother and the master is a bit of a... Just to avoid the word cope... A way to deal with their loss to some extent. Like they know that their relationship, however fiery it is, was part of that life when the original Miss Sunflower lived (Or at least the one that was "their" miss sunflower) and as such, they cherish it in some odd way.
Although that would make this situation a bit bitter and maybe even a tiny bit toxic for both of them. Which I would never really consider from this story. So far while it did have some negative stuff in it, it never was at such an intense level as this would imply.

Won't lie, I got a bit confused about who is who and had to re-read it fully once, and then still glance at previous pages to "make sure".

Still, this was cute. I thought this would have a bit more yanderish end or something, but Nah. Nice and sweet.

Was wondering when this would get here.

I loved those chapters. Especially because there were some nice scenes with Tama and Hana. They're just such fun characters. Even without Yuri being involved. Although I think it was just mostly refreshing to see the focus on someone else. I'm tired of Eiko having so much attention. I mean it just seemed to me like she was getting a lot of that before. She's fine and all, but I don't really care for her crush on the sensei and since the author seems to enjoy this ship above all else, it's a bit sad to see Eiko's interactions with Kamuri.

But really, those sweet TamaHana moments. Loved them

I really liked this chapter. In general, I just really enjoy this story more and more. This theme of breaking a hard shell of ice around a disabled girl. A shell that the girl created herself because she's frustrated and hated being treated special. And as it was said in this chapter alone, the world (Well, the school at least) is there to show her it's not about treating her special, but treating her fair. I'm sure there'll be plenty of drama down the road.

Also that Saki's smile at the end there.

Ah yes, I remember reading this some long time ago. Re-reading it while having some additional, new lore context is... Well... It sure changes your perspective on this cute little piece.
