To add to my point, I can see Rin's development going either way, in the past she couldn't choose between two friends and ended up breaking away from both so now she could either choose one (and signs point to it being Mayuki) or be able to choose both. Mayuki seems easily impressionable and I think her development might be about learning to be more assertive and go for what she wants rather than being okay with Akira just being with someone else, but she's obviously been growing close to Rin in the meantime even though they're totally just practicing. Akira herself seems to only be interested in Rin right now, but that could change once she starts confronting the possibility of Mayuki liking her. A three-way would be the resolution that potentially wouldn't involve any of them having to give something up, and even just serve to set this manga apart from the usual love triangle.

I'm here for the three-way relationship, I hope it gets there no matter how much drama it may require, if any.

She did monologue that she found it embarassing when Adachi kept asking her to confirm it, though that's normal.

The one earlier Tales game I'd really recommend you to play is Abyss, Vesperia is a straight upgrade of it gameplaywise but its story is incredibly deep and thought-provoking for series' standards and is absolutely worth experiencing the game for.

It's one of the best Tales games for sure, my personal favorite alongside Tales of the Abyss. The story itself isn't amazing with a somewhat generic world and pretty undercooked villains, but the heroes and themes more than make up for it. The main character in particular, Yuri (ironic name, I know), is nothing like your average JRPG protagonist in that he's mature, sure of himself and extremely willing to dirty his hands for the greater good. The main theme of the game is about the nature of justice as Yuri clashes with his best friend/rival Flynn due to him tending to act outside the (corrupted) law to make things right while Flynn aims to reform the law by climbing up the ranks from the inside. I find it pretty compelling.

Gameplaywise, it's mostly standard Tales fare with some interesting flourishes to the battle system that let you do insane combos, though it takes a pretty long time to open up like that. If you're not familiar with the series, you explore towns and dungeons, there's a not-to-scale overworld between areas and battles are action-focused in real time. There are many sidequests and the main game itself is pretty long at around 50 hours, so there's quite some value there. The Definitive Edition goes on sale rather often on the various consoles and PC so I think it's especially worthwhile if you can find it for $30 or less.

I feel like if anyone ends up walking in on them doing something that gives out they're together, it's going to be Yashiro and she won't give weight to it.

I want to say I hope Shimamura won't be TOO accomodating. That Adachi took her away from talking to Hino and Nagafuji is ludicrous and she should be told acting like that is too much.

I couldn't remember if summer had already passed but yeah, I guess it hasn't so that could still happen too. They go up a school year in chapter 24 and since then Konatsu took some time off from the club, but they didn't say anything about summer break so it should be coming up soon in the story. Maybe it'll happen.

Since this chapter sets up Konatsu being without Koyuki in her third year of high school, I hope it doesn't get skimmed over or outright skipped because there's potential there. Both with Konatsu's point of view where she takes over the aquarium club and has to live up to Koyuki's legacy, and from Koyuki's where she tries to get used to her new life in Tokyo. And then they could meet a few times throughout the year before reuniting for good at the end with Konatsu also going back to Tokyo.
