Speaking of wet hair damaging your health... when I was a kid I was told that I would go blind if I went to bed with wet hair. I'm not exactly sure where that belief comes from but I'm guessing it's because when wet hair gets onto your eye, there could have a higher chance that you'd end up producing more eye discharge/mucus. And when eye discharge/mucus solidifies while your eyes are closed.. well, let's just say it really hurts just to take off all that crusted eye buggers.

As absurd as it may sound, I have to admit that I even had to have my eyelid operated just because I wasn't able to get rid of all that before it turned into a minor infection. (Though me going to bed with wet hair actually had little to nothing to do with that)

With that mindset of yours, I'm not sure how you survive reading/watching through flashbacks and backstories (that hide important details most of the time) in other stories.
Actually, I'm not sure why you even bother reading/watching stories at all. Not all stories need to end on a high note full of fluff. Down to earth stories like this one, regardless of good or bad end, are much more fulfilling than most people realize.

Besides, whoever said that just because two people decided that they were better off as friends means that a story would automatically turn into a tragic end? And who said that Miwa and Saeko's CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT would not be important for what happens after they break up?

Well, that certainly escalated quickly. It started out interesting, but then kinda felt like a bootleg version of bloom into you. This would’ve been nice as a couple chapters

The "demure and obedient" ideal is mostly an Asian thing these days. Their culture is based on such things. Never forget the ideal Japanese woman cliche lol

It's sad that misogyny is a huge part of most patriarchal cultures, especially here in Asia. It's bad enough that there are men who would turn violent when any women in the family (wife and children both) aren't obedient. What makes it worse is that some women actually still believe that they have to shut up and nod when they're told to.

There should be a timer/clock given in a series to let readers know that readership is lacking and the publishers are pulling the plug (ending the series whether mangaka is ready or not).

Not the worst rushed ending ive ever seen unlike a certan bannana story.

That manga was ridiculous (in a good way). I just can't remember if it was dropped or cancelled. Either way, the end left the frustrating taste of incomplete.
