I dont think it was because she wouldn't sleep with him. He just realised that Yuma was not in love with him.
I saw it as him associating that not being comfortable enough for sex = SHE DOESN'T REALLY LOVE YOU, which makes me feel "eh". Aren't "nice guys" supposed to like, aim for being loving, understanding and supportive, but instead he was like "it's okay, you don't have to force yourself, *pained face*, *stops talking to her for the rest of winter break*". It irks me, that unwillingness to have sex correlated with "she's not into you". Ofc it's always a possibility, but he made a leap and stuck with it and just pouted like a kid for weeks.
Like the way Yuma is acting now not rejecting Hotaru because she doesn't want her to leave, she could have easily stopped rejecting Takeda and slept with him, to stop him from leaving. Idk if Takeda meant it like that, but I do know that Hotaru really meant to leave, and wasn't just making a point. But the conclusion would have been the same, if it had influenced Yuma's behaviour like that, it's kinda unintentional emotional blackmail.
They just shared their first kiss ever like, a week-few weeks ago max, I think he tried to escalate it too quickly. If she hadn't seen what seemed to be Hotaru and Fujiwara post-sex, she wouldn't even have gotten as far as to share the room with him that night. Regardless of how Yuma feels towards Hotaru, I think that she did like Takeda to some extent, and really, regardless of Hotaru's interferences, he was rushing it and she clearly wasn't as confident/comfortable as he was [horny].
Next chapter is a time skip. Mimika is all grown up, married (with a guy) and has 2 children.
Then she says "Ohohoh man..I was so dumb for liking some underage girl! Welp! will never forget those fun days xD" The end.
I can see her saying that shit out loud and the husband being like "you what" and running out the door with their children under each arm
her "fear" indicates that the reason she's letting it happen isn't just because she's unaware of her growing feelings/lust towards Hotaru, but mainly cus Hotaru straight up left her once.
When did that happen? You mean when Hotaru got bf for the first time, or Fujiwara? I didn't seem like that to me. It was Yuma who left Hotaru because of her highschool friends
Ever since chapter 9, after Fujiwara catches them and takes a pic, Hotaru tries to "make everything right" again for Yuma. When she talks to Takeda to fix their relationship, she states to Takeda that there's a "person" out there that likes Yuma, but has definitely given up. Skimming chapter 10 shows you that there's an obvious rift between Yuma and Hotaru, that Hotaru is trying to create a certain distance between them. Hotaru gets the job so that she can save and move out, to leave Yuma. It's not about a difference in interpretation either, Yuma clearly feels it. Also when we saw her "yandere" side.
Thus, in chapter 13, when Yuma refers to her fear of Hotaru leaving, this is what she means. They haven't talked about Hotaru's job anywhere in ch13, nor her trying to leave again/continue leaving. I think Hotaru trying to leave is basically her way of "getting over" Yuma, giving up, but Yuma kissing her in the last chapter likely put different thoughts in Hotaru's head, that maybe it's not such a lost cause after all. Yuma's kiss is still pretty recent development, we haven't had Hotaru's thoughts on it yet, but if she stops trying to distance herself (which I think she is, that she has stopped, given how Yuma is now lying and ditching the boys to go meet up/walk home with her), it's likely because Yuma kissed her.
Either by getting violent or by sending her into a guilt-trip.
If he were to start shit, I feel like he'd go for an emotional tactic. When his attempts at getting laid didn't work out, he ignored her at school, and Yuma felt like shit for "hurting such a nice guy".

oh my god
I hope she didn't do that apricot jam thing with her real dog...
Exactly, but I think that might... imply that?
Tho, the way she washed mc also doesn't seem to be the way you'd wash a dog...
Looks like it's going to be cute.
"The four-panel manga follows a shy girl named Tomoko who comes home from school and is greeted by her three (personified) cats."
This reminds me of that creepy manga about a girl her and her cat(s).
This as well.
"When she arrives, it turns out her boarding house is a secondhand bookstore, and a girl who eats books lives there."
oh my god okay lol
Im just going to leave this here
http://clar-a-m.tumblr.com/post/153580956774/kumiko-and-reina-study-togetherAnd now watch as they 180 het end us.
I fucking died
How did they decide to make a "study sesh segment" and go there? Their duet from S1E8 was playing in the background too. Gosh, Reina's voice is so warm, as she speaks to herself about Kumiko. Listen to the differences in tone, as she asks each question. Was Reina the one saying "baka"? It's so weird haha, they make voices we've never hear them make before.
Omfg the classroom one, they're so troll, they're doing this on purpose lmao omg
Omfg the drunk Reina one too omg I'm dying, what did she do, what did she try to do, omg, Reina is a flirty(?) drunk.
I know it's just "the euphoradio's segment where listeners send in short snippets for the seiyuu to act out", but it was still lovely ^^
Flip Flappers was interesting lmao, magical girls mecha vs digimon parody or something?
Pacoya lmfao nooo xD omg lol
That scene when Papika pulls Cocona along and they're are running to the pool, and we see, from Cocona's pov, all slo-mo-like, Papika's back, and then Cocona's face, all mesmerized, it was nice. Might just be me, but I feel like Cocona seems a bit more self conscious of Papika now. Oh and the final scene, the way Cocona was in the dark, and Pipika was in the light. Cocona seemed happy, like she wanted share her appreciation, when Papika cut her off with "Mimi". The way the music cuts off, as Cocona's eyes grew wide. That felt really worrying to me. Papika at that moment, reminded me of when they had first come back from Iroha-senpai's Pure Illusion, and Papika enthusiastically talked about "Oba-chan", as if she was still Iro.
I wonder. Each Pure Illusion world, sometimes they're empty of people, sometimes they aren't. Could you ever visit the same world twice? What if you wanted to go back to one of them? What if you grew fond of someone in one of them? Can you choose not to come back? Why is it that Yayaka and co, and our main pair always visiting the same world at the same time? When Pure Illusion is opened, does it only open up to one world? Does the world continue to exist after they've left it? Are there just a lot of places existing at the same time, but somehow, they can only access one at once?

Idk about Yuma PURSUING Hotaru. From the "I'm scared she'll leave me if I reject her" thoughts, seems like... she's made herself hostage to the current situation, because she's scared. Even if she does have thoughts indicating that she's more and more into Hotaru, that she's getting all hot and bothered, her "fear" indicates that the reason she's letting it happen isn't just because she's unaware of her growing feelings/lust towards Hotaru, but mainly cus Hotaru straight up left her once.
To some extent, we know that Yuma reciprocates, but there's also other concerns and feels mixed it with it, so it isn't... optimal, or as simple as "they like each other so it's all good".
(Incidentally I think Hina is actually a rare-ish departure, quite different from any Morinaga Milk character I've seen before. Some people have said she's like Hitomi or Akko only taller, but IMO compared to them aside from the height she has a different face, different body style, different expressions, and different personality; the only thing that's the same is that she's the blond one.)
I think Hina's actually a bit more similar in personality to Tamamin than Hitomi or Akko. Also despite looking generally like Akko she kinda seems like Sugi-san with her whole modelling deal and everyone going gaga over how beautiful she is.
I'm gonna miss Hina tbh (I like her character design), she doesn't really remind me of any of Morinaga's other characters. Sure, she's the one with lighter hair colour, the stylish one, but she's also really shy and kinda reserved, actually? I don't really remember Hitomi, but Tamamin and Akko are more the type of girls to pull ppl along (genki and shit), but as for Hana and Hina, none of them are exceptionally energetic/really do that, there's this awkwardness between them and I think it's pretty cute. No one is overly familiar and "forces" the other to catch up, Hana and Hina aren't very close, but to a certain point they're used to each other's presence and would like to become closer. It's sweet.
Sure Morinaga has written stylish characters before, but none of them like Hina. She's shy, quieter, hesitant, she's more of an introvert, compared to what you'd believe at first, judging from her character design. Ah I'm really gonna miss that :'(

Oh shit
Damn, Mimika. Kiddo's beat you to it
Ofc, just like ch9, "does she?? Or does she not...?" is still subject to debate. We don't know if Yuzumori means it that way, tho it'll likely be clear in the next chapter(s).
Personally, I feel like it could easily be "yes, she does", and the author had it end like that just for the lolz, and keeping her readers hooked. But ofc, it could also have been written with the ambiguity because we can't even tell for sure if Yuzumori understands it fully herself.
Hm, I wonder if it isn't a little early for a confession. Yuzumori being jealous is like, a good sign of something, dunno if she realises it herself/meant to be or didn't care if she was obvious with it, but it's quite a jump. I'd like to know more of Yuzumori's perspective/feelings, what we know of her is still limited.
But yeah, could easily be "yes she does" or "no it's just platonic", I'm not sure what to expect from this sort of plot, I've hardly ever read fluffy age gap stories with one of the characters being a high school student and the other being so young
It's either a "personal interpretation" thing, or it just isn't clear enough/we're lacking context/setting, would be nice to get the artist's thoughts on it.
Last image gave me the impression that Yang is in an open relationship with Blake, rather than just having a harem

I also remember that, in some situations (or rather often tbh) kids tease each other for "liking" someone, as if it was something to be ashamed of, and in response, the "accused" are embarrassed, try to deny it, hide it. Even if the "accusation" is false, they still deny very strongly, as if offended. I'm not really thinking much into it, just something I remembered.

Actually, why do ppl tend to keep their love a secret?
Like from your friends and family, or from the person you're infatuated with? Personally, I feel like if I haven't said anything yet, there's an uncertain chance of something happening, but if I ask her out and she says no, all hope is lost
I meant it like, along the same idea of are confessions like crimes somehow, if the reason we confess is because we hide it (generally from the love interest), and if we hide it cus it's something that needs to be hidden
Well there was that one time you linked your blog in which you admitted to "fangirling." I'm not positive though
Shiet that's probably girly or something, and sounds negative for some reason ^, like a sin
I admitted to fangirling lmao. I feel kinda self conscious about it, weirdlyY'know I was just thinking the other day, do they call love confessions, "confessions" because it's a crime to love?
haha jokes aside, and not as in a bad thing tho, i did change my blog's intro thing just now

I think we all can agree that Tsukasa is the best through. Her goofy character was just so adorable.
Even during Kotooka-focused chapter 7, Tsukasa and her 'why do you need a small mirror, there is a big one in the bath room' or 'soccer practice is what make summer break so good' still shine over. No wonder more than half of the cast in this manga is after her
omg yes, that was amazing, especially "why do you always need to look at your face" rofl, Tsukasa is best girl, I just need her to be happy
When Tsukasa snapped at Washio, I thought it was gonna be really dramatic, but I'm glad she held back for a minute and actually like Washio finish, that they actually worked out the misunderstanding/COMMUNICATED. They immediately resolved the "you don't need to do this for me" and stopped Tsukasa from isolating herself, it was nice.
When Tsukasa volunteered for gardening tho, my first thought was legit "oh no, that's so unsubtle, Kotooka's gonna notice" and she fucking did omg
Kotooka set it up so that Washio and Tsukasa would be alone, so she was obviously gonna eavesdrop, and having her also figure out that Tsukasa knows of Washio's feelings and can't refuse, damn, that is indeed sharp, it's impressive that she figured it out right away, or at least suspected it, before definitely confirming it. A level above knowing "who's in loves with who", is "who knows who's in love with who", especially because no one knows she figured it out/heard them. Kotooka's just getting more and more burdened and stressed about this know, I kinda feel bad about that.
Kotooka is the one with the most "control" and better grasp of their situation, but it's so harsh that it's putting a lot of pressure on her too, that, for having different values/beliefs, she's gonna have to set herself out to be the "antagonist" of the story to maintain the balance.
Love triangles are common plot points/themes, but it's nice that this series is based on a "perfect" love triangle, and rather than the angst, the drama has as much to do about "information". The importance and use of "knowledge". Kotooka knowing of everyone's feelings is interesting, but it's even better that no one knows that she knows. It gives her that edge over everyone else, since she sees right through them, especially because they believe otherwise/don't realise it.
This pretty awesome artist is working on a really funny and cute doujin about the aftermath of the anime's ending. This is just a small taste of it
Really want to upload this, trying to find a way to contact the artist at the moment for permission.
Do you always ask the artist for permission before an upload?
Similarly for things scanlated/translated/requested, do you make sure you/the scanlators have approval too?
Odd place to be asking for no yuri.
I had same discussion with Faust about this. But i was on opposite side. Acc. to him, this is an anime discussion so ask for any kind while i was telling him that this is a yuri site so yuri must be discussed only :P
I don't remember lmfao
But yeah, it is an "anime thread", but it's just weird that you stated it like "no yuri", rather than "other than yuri".
Different wording lead to different tone lel, different impressions of what you seem to want
Now I could be wrong, But I think @Faust is a girl.
What makes you think that? (not denying or confirming, just wondering)
Gdi Ulquiorra I told you to be more careful next time y u do dis
Chapter 12 drinking game: Take a shot every time you read the word "staple".
Poor Faust begged us to change this, lol, but the redundance is intended as a running joke.

Futakaku Kankei is amazing, and I can't wait to get started on it!
FUTAKAKU KANKEI IS SO GOOD, GUYS. I LEGIT SKIMMED CHINESE RAWS FOR IT, AND UNDERSTOOD LIKE 5% OF THE TEXT AND IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS. IT'S SUCH A TREAT.
I had forgotten how important the theme of "being yourself"/self acceptance was. Or more like, I never really thought about it. It was always there, but it felt like an obvious moral, so nothing new, but to see it brought up again, in such a context is interesting. It's nice that Mei is reminding Yuzu of the same line of thought/values that she has been following pretty much since ever, even before she started pursuing Mei, though a little absentmindedly. It's always nice to see Mei emotionally support Yuzu, with how focused and helpful Yuzu has always tried to be for her.
Iirc, Yuzu had self doubt during the presidency/delinquency arc too? Ofc, she's always had her moments of insecurity here and there, but ultimately, she always seemed to face things head on, whether she had really (or more or less) thought them through or was just braving them. She's such a kind, compassionate girl, seeing her rely on others is heartwarming.
Art was nice but I... I don't really get it... Was it about two girls with perhaps, different ways of perceiving beauty, and the senpai getting like, offended? :> damn i dont get it
Anyone know what she meant by "saving a cat"?
