^I think the reaction came from the expectation of a possible influence of GWitch. I didn't watch it, but just by reading everyone's comments I can tell what kind of show it was. The truth is that the yuri in GWitch is an extra detail and shouldn't be seen as what identifies the series, althotugh in a way it kinda does. GCucks was basically the attempt to maintain a modern approach to the Gundam series that GWitch started. Did it work? Not in here I guess...

@Casusby Looking back in this thread, I noticed it was mostly my fault for the derail. Sorry, I just had to vent out a little bit. In a way a might have brought the type of "conversation" that I said I'm avoiding.

The more I think about this pairing the more interesting it gets.

@Perlen297 Marin is the best for sure. Anyways, the thing is: would the author really invest that much in characters meant just to die instantly as a running gag? Maybe the whole after life thing is the author's plan... But I think that the ressurection might have an important role in the story at some point. That's just my guess.

@FluffyCow This series is kinda like the Happy Tree Friends of yuri, so I totally understand your perspective. I don't think it's hilarious either, I'm watching for the yuri, but I can't deny that I don't care that much about the cruel side of the story. Which is what the show exposes in ourselves through irony.

^^I guess I phrased it badly, I meant that the situations and reactions Bocchi goes through that far from what could possibly happen in real life. I also suffer from severe social anxiety and Mako's struggles in the first episode felt much more relatable than anything in Bocchi because of the stylization. Yes, I'm pro-Bocchi.
Nana is both real Bocchi and the Bocchi from her fantasies in way. But @Perlen297 compared this pairing with Bocchi and Nijika, so I was wondering which one would be Bocchi, Mako from the first episode or Kurea from the vacation expisode.
