this might honestly be a good time to reread the series. its so much more full of intrigue than i expected at first and while i greatly enjoy it i can barely hold on to whats going on right now.

It must be bewildering for the Mai; she thinks she's an average girl then here comes the hottest, fashion focused popular girl falling madly in love with her and getting jealous that she'd spend time with someone else. Plus this girl is a succubus, so she's literally going against her biology for her love of Mai.

Remember she is only half succubus, and does not actually need to snack on life force she just likes the taste. which is also why Lily promising to be exclusive to Mai is both a strong indicator of how serious about their relationship but also only possible because she doesn't actually need to rush Mai into sex for her own survival as she can do fine without human lifeforce.

genuinely such a shame this didn't get the runtime it needed. i love sometime's work so I hope the next one will at least get its due.

yeah with how much focus this chapter put on equaling Hasumi with Ena things started feeling off, But of course the answer was time travel all along!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Actually thinking about it, has Ena just been stuck in a timeloop with this awful class until she'd manage to get any couple together? is that why she's so experienced despite having nominally only been a cupid for a couple days.

The way I see it, and hope the story is going to go is that Nami and Kaede are in a loving but somewhat misguided relationship. Where they don't actually mange to communicate the way they should.

Where, through interacting with the teenage cast and the love troubles Kaede can work through her own insecurities and improve her relationship to Nami.

Which is not to say that Kaede is the sole reason their relationship is kind of wonky. A lot of what we've seen hint at Nami largely being the reason why things could be better. Her ultimatum for one, but also the way in which Kaede has been left feeling like she's on thin ice because of the way Nami rejected her eight years ago in ways that don't feel like they've been resolved despite them now being together.

But! I think a lot of the happenings really do exist for Kaede to grow as a person and improve communications with Nami to the point where she'll actually be able to ask. "Hey what was up with that ultimatum? How do we clear the air between us? Can you work with me on that?"

So to round things up. I don't their relationship is meant to be perfect but I do think it is meant to improve over the course of the story as Kaede gets involved and held responsible for calming these teenagers wild rides.

this is a completely different direction than I expected with Nozaki but also, I'm seated and waiting. It's fun to see multiple instances of Nozaki getting close and Kuritani bracing for impact and every time she's doing something different than Kuritani assumed.

what is her angle indeed. Except of course, she's seemingly been turned down by a guy because he was crushing on Kuritani instead. So what is her angle? Who knows! She's clearly upset but her plans for approaching Kuritani could still go every which way.

As for the story, I like the immediate intrigue at the end of the chapter. what has Haneul been up to for these past years for someone to start texting her under her stagename. Looking at the the first vs last page of the chapter. It could very well be the idol to the immediate left of Solar on page 1 is now texting her demanding her location.

regardless there's more chapters to come and I don't see much reason to try and solve the entire story all on my lonesome right now immediately. So I'm looking forward to seeing more as I always am.

Hell yeah Tomoe! good on her for warning Ayano not to trust Takahiko too much even if he seems like the best deal she can get.

After all Tomoe has seen him drop his pretense, he's happy to let Ayano do what she wants so long as he remains confident she'll give it all up by the time they get married. And with her acting like this, I don't think he'll remain confident of such things.
