I never liked this meme because if you wanted to figure out what you taste like, you can just lick your own skin. I mean, I figured out what I tasted like as a kid when my pet rat kept licking me and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about.
^I haven't watched the movie myself, but from what I can gather Coco is actually a villainess who Mystery Inc. have to team up with. She makes monster costumes for other Scooby-Doo villains, and I think its supposed to be like one of those Hannibal Lector "imprisoned criminal has to help the investigators" deals. Not that it stops Velma from simping.

Its kind of weird to think about how Velma being a lesbian was essentially memed into cannon. It wasn't like there was subtext in the original Scooby-Doo cartoon or anything, people were just like "lol Velma looks like a lez" as a joke as far as
I was aware.
Its like if they canonically made He-Man homosexual because of all the jokes people made about that cartoon.

Actually feels kinda weird to see Shiver with a bra instead of a sarashi.
Apparently one of the locker decoration items you can get in Splatoon 3 is a yuri manga, dammnit now I'm going to have to buy a million of those whenever they become avaliable.
^From a quick look up it seems that Shiver refers to herself by the feminine pronoun "uchi" in Japanese so I suspect you've been had.
^Shiver's confirmed a girl; in addition to in-game dialogue, someone actually bothered to write to Nintendo themselves to ask about Shiver's identity.
Apparently (and this is just based on a poor machine translation I did of a japanese tweet, so I may have misinterpreted something) Shiver is deliberately made to be androgynous because her character is based off Kabuki theatre, where actors were traditionally expected to play roles of the opposite gender (most well known were men playing the roles of women after female actors were banned, but Kabuki was originally an all-female thing).

^The manga is called Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt in Manga Strip. I can only find translations on it on those shadier, low quality manga scan sites. It happens in chapter 4, here's the specific panel:

In the same chapter Panty also has lesbian sex with a native american girl. Oh, and in chapter 3 Stocking starts a lesbian orgy. I dunno why Imaishi decided to put all this in this short spinoff manga, but I ain't complaining.

There was actually an official manga where they fucked (in a Wild West AU, though).
I'm not sure if Ucchi's canonical fantasy of what she'd use a Tomoko dakimakura for is wholesome or not.

Recently Oda said he's planning to end the series in 3 years, though he's not sure if he'd actually do it.
I know there's Flandre/Yuuma out there, there should be some of that here instead of stuff that just has Yuuma acting as the third wheel. It makes me feel sad for her.
Given the artist's other works depicting this couple, I have no doubt that Yuyuko is totally okay with this.
