Holy set of tags. I'm intrigued.
...
Yeah, that was pretty good. Wretched, dark, hopeful, uplifting.

Yeah, it's comfort food, and not the nutritious kind. I wonder how I'd end up seeing the series if I re-read it from the start. By this point it's been with me long enough (4 and a half years) that it'd have to become insanely stupid for me to stop enjoying and drop it.

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/their_secret_time is a good example, especially looking at the comments. Lots of uncertainty about what's going on.

It makes me very happy to see this work cited in this context. It's such a cool piece of media to me.

Luckily Kuritani has been assigned a friend of her own to figure things out with. On a slightly unrelated note, Nozaki is also the one who asked Kaede how often she liked to have sex on her first day as a teacher. So if nothing else Kuritani is in irritatingly outspoken hands. XD

You're right, I forgot she was the one who asked that out-of-place question. With her showing up in this chapter's cliffhanger, I have a feeling she's going to start getting involved in things she really shouldn't... and just end up being plain annoying.

Hmm I think Kuritani will benefit from a well-meaning busybody like Nozaki. She'll be annoying at first, but overall probably a positive influence.

it's not like she lives in a society where she can do so without engaging in risk.

Not just that, as a teacher she's probably in a position that greatly exacerbates the pressures and risks involved with such a coming out.

Boy, that escalated quickly.

This writing is incredibly frustrating is what it is. It's obvious that Komaki and Wakana are endgame and we're supposed to root for them, but I really can't bring myself to when Matsuri is right there as an infinitely more appealing option.

Take off the blinders! Matsuri is a closeted yandere! There's always something eery about her involvement with Wakaba. You could argue that she sees Komaki as a harmful influence on Wakaba, but I've always had more the impression that she's super possessive and slyly manipulative.
A good friend wouldn't say that "it's such a waste" thinking about their friends.

Aww, it'll be over already?
Oh well, at least it's being announced at the end of the prior chapter rather than at the start of the final chapter like in the case of Demon Lord of Yashiro.

Hmmm technically I think that could fall under Abuse or Dubious consent, with the latter probable being the more "helpful" tag, especially if it's not a cut-and-dried situation.

I feel like I'm the only one who genuinely enjoys the writing. It's fucking good, delicious food to me. These girls are so messy and self-sabotaging, but they want each other so bad.

I know, right? They're so amazingly awful, it's incredible how much these two idiots deserve each other.

Also Matsuri's still a snake.

I managed to avoid RAG like the plague for years now, but if it's Toxic Yuri, how could I resist?

Huh, so it's not just in my head.

Eh, it'll be fine, I'm sure they'll sort it out.

Meanwhile: A wild Wingmom appeared! What will happen next?

I'm just going to leave this here because these guys are much smarter than me and much better at explaining things.

That was a good listen, thanks for posting. But I'm not quite sure what point you were trying to support/make with it (if any definite one), because it seems like a case of "complex issues may preclude simple answers".

While I didnt quite feel as mad about the "these idiots can't manage to work up a confession" except for the way it ended obviously prematurely as some of you, I'm very excited for "this idiot can't stop confessing to her target"

Yeah, best to expect being literally given the runaround for 90% of its chapters though.

Can the site please stop posting Centurii art?

Idk, I just don't want to bring further attention to the person who draws this sort of stuff:
[snip]

Idk, that clearly seems to be satirical, ridiculing colonizers rather than glorifying them. You may personally interpret it as denigrating the victims of the satirized party's abuse or belittling the abuse, but I don't think that's the way it's meant to be read. Of course, humor is in the eye of the beholder, and the darker it gets, the more likely it is to rub more people the wrong way.

Oh neat. So Miya's in a bad spot too... and wanting to kill her mother (not like I'm blaming her giving that she's been literally chained to her bed). So Risa is still the one who was treated the best by the zombie apocalypse.

Now, Miya and Eko could still kill each other, or become fast friends, really. Or become fast friends then kill each other.

I love that I have absolutely no idea where this story is going.

Wherever it's going seems to be in Crazytown, which is great news in my book. Every character confirmed alive at this point is messed up in some way or other.

Top shelf heartache with only a splash of comedy for this chapter.
Well...
Repeat after me: It will all be okay. It will all be okay. It will all be okay.

Yeah I don't really see any indication that Eko killed them. On the other hand, it's a bit odd that zombies would wander in while she was absent and the other lookout was sleeping, killed everyone by surprise and then left again before Eko and Risa came back around.
If Eko actually killed them, I'm sure we'll get confirmation of that soon enough.

You're not wrong, but you're also looking at it from an adult's point of view. Nakanishi clearly considers herself to be mature enough for a relationship with Kaede, she explicitly asked Kaede to date her, and so to her "you're a student and I'm your teacher" would sound like a lame excuse. That's part of the problem here -- she's still too immature to understand why a student/teacher relationship is wrong. So by approaching her on her own terms, "as an adult," Kaede is able to explain herself in a way Nakanishi can understand and accept.

yeah like, considering the last couple chapters, on top of her own experience with unrequited love, Kaede was obviously rejecting Nakanishi on a level she'd be able to accept rather than outright stating a teacher cannot date their student.

And sure this leaves the "implication" that Kaede could have dated Nakanishi if she hadn't already been dating someone, if you discard the previous four chapters which were largely about how a teacher should not date their students, both morally and legally.

Well the obvious implication of "a teacher cannot date their student" would be "well then I'll try to get with her once I graduate", which people understandably also object to.
