The reason Kaoru feels guilty over their family falling apart is obvious, its either a willing or unwilling affair with Reiichi's father (which I suspect started after he started dating Glasses) that eventually came to light. As to why Reiichii would just suddenly start dating/marrying her after telling her basically to fuck off for years is the result of that. Its probably a KimiNozo thing where she feels so guilty over it that it breaks her, so he stepped in to prevent her from just killing herself eventually. Of course he's still seeing his "real" girlfriend that I imagine he never stopped seeing.

Mei's dad did offer to have her go to, but what a surprise that she didn't want to fuck off to the third world to watch her dad do literally the exact same thing he refuses to do back in Japan for reasons. Now that's he's had his fun and found himself or whatever, what was stopping him from coming back to take over the school? His dad is about to kick the bucket (notice how he still can't be fucked to come back) so he'll be head of the family, its not like there will be anyone who can force him to do anything now. His solution to Mei's issue would probably just be leaving her alone because she "chose" this herself, even though it obviously wasn't her choice, and he also didn't give a fuck when a previous fiance was forced on her.

Will probably just have to wait until the official English release to get anything. Unfortunately, the first release is in like September.

Just ends, just like that. Its not a huge loss, but they could have at least tried to have a real ending.

Amanchu is really good, and the first episode of S2 proves that. The problem is them playing up the bait even more than the manga does. I'm still enjoying it and will enjoy the ride until it goes off that cliff.

Even worse than I thought it'd be. They changed some of the scenes, like Konomi walking in on Yoriko laying on top of Hanabi to a generic scene telling her to stop touching her basically. Skipped a bunch of pages and only adapted the first half of the first chapter, though that one is over 60 pages long. Animation is as basic as you can possibly get. Looks like it will be 3 minutes with a 30 second OP or ED.

Even NTR got more than that. I'm not sure how they plan on adapting a monthly manga like that, unless they just decide to do nothing but the To love Ru style gags with none of the actual character substance.

I don't think well get to the controversial parts in the second season. Even the latest chapter translated, Kokoro still presents himself as a girl and wears girls' clothing. Though I think the reveal and his initial confession to Pikari is like 1 or 2 chapters away from there.

I believe the bulk of the anime will just be that Peter Pan nonsense and introducing Kokoro but not going too far. I expect up to volume 7 or 8 at worst, though that still has interesting material in it like Pikari and Kokoro meeting in secret every week, Pikari not telling her best friend anything about it for no reason, which I think is foreshadowing for their eventual romance

As far as Nozomi is concerned its definitely a one-sided love. She was basically dying of happiness while simultaniously being jealous of who would be Eli's "real" partner in the future. Even if she doesn't realize it, its obvious that the feelings are mutual.

With the new season coming, in case anyone still had even the slightest hope for subtext or yuri.

Latest chapters have Pikari and Kokoro going in a date for his birthday. Its actually fairly romantic (lots of hand holding and looking into each other's eyes) and its clear that Pikari is falling for him if she isn't in love already, despite him being like 4 years younger than her. Dotty was true to her word about supporting their love as well and was basically stalking them throughout.

I'm still very disappointing with how the yuri thing was resolved. Amano opting to go for a we're both girls so my love can't possibly romantic like it is with a girl and boy route shows the contempt for it that carries over from Aria.

Sure has been a while since we had this. And it seems like it answers the question of why the main pair's relationship seemed to have reset. Seeing as how Mado this chapter expressed that she believed their feelings were mutual, that kiss must have happened so its obvious that something got lost in translation.

Rereading it, there's definitely plenty of hints that Ayumi is a complete bitch.

Its unfortunate that the next one has no real conclusion or confrontation in it.

Looking at the pixiv, this chapter came out almost exactly a year ago. Prior to that, each chapter was about 4 months apart, so it looks like this really is the end.

So I remember chapters 15 and 16 were just very suddenly gay. Does that ever come back? We seemed to have brushed it off.

The next chapter or two and the last few ones are pretty gay.
