Holy fuck, my sides probably reached E.T.'s home before he did.

Ahah, she looks so pleased about every discovery.

Each 4koma is another fucking Christmas morning for her (and for us, too).

Tamamusi is the best.

I guess catgirls get a discount because they're tripping balls 24/7.

Well, at least the narration seems to suggest the writer now has a pretty strong grasp on what they went through (and, I suppose, is comfortable enough with it to publish a whole book about it).

It seems insensitive to say, but it's nice to see someone with all these disorders that has a knack for storytelling. Not only provides us with their understanding of the disorders themselves, but also gives a lot of context about the disorders' origins and effects on everyday life. A lot of artistic works dealing with this subject matter are more... experimental? abstract? whereas this one is a much more grounded, analytical perspective.

Also important to mention it's one of those works where it doesn't matter where it ends up on the spectrum of biography-"Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter." Rather than just a depiction of "whats," it primarily discusses the endless stream of "whys."

"The question to everyone's answer
Is usually asked from within
But the patterns of the rain and the truth they contain
Have written my life on your skin

Jungle love, it's drivin' me mad
It's makin' me crazy
Jungle love, it's drivin' me mad
It's makin' me crazy

You treat me like I was your ocean
You swim in my blood when it's warm
My cycles of circular motion
Protect you and keep you from harm
You live in a world of illusion
Where everything's peaches and cream
We all face a scarlet conclusion
But we spend our time in a dream"

Upon second thought, the connection seemed thin, but upon third thought, this shit's blowing my fucking mind again.

Great little work, with a great message.

That message being, Mokou is the best.

Aww yeah, time to get some tears. This thing actually seems like it's approaching a conclusion.

It's creepy in order to convey the way this character is feeling during the struggle of restraining herself. Also, because it's so over-the-top it's a bit funny.

I must say, this story is so American it's pretty incredible a Japanese mangaka can depict it so powerfully. Haven't seen anything like that since Stone Ocean...

I'll be honest it comes off as more British to me. Lot of coal-mining there in the post-war period, and they'd be more likely to call Russia "easterners" than Americans would.

At first, I was looking at architecture for clues, but thankfully there was something easier. http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/walk_wit_me_first_part#25 I'm not an expert in 20th century newspapers, but I'm not sure a British front page would read "Pitt Beats Trojans 20 to 14", "(Bob?) Turley Today in Third Game of Series", and what might be "Teamsters Elect..." Of course, we never know if the author just put random english text in there, but I'm inclined to believe this guy put serious effort into depicting a specific time period. Whatever the case, the themes covered seem applicable throughout the world (and throughout time).

When they hold hands for around 75% of the transformation sequence, you know it's gonna be a good season.

I'm making sure to have XL popcorn in stock for whenever this updates. Looking into all the alternate universes, even the most soul-crushing ones seem like they're gonna be a lot of fun.

Knowing Douman, I expected the next page to be "Oops, sorry, hate it when that happens. Could you put that back on for me?" and then end up with her head (helm?) on backwards for a while. If Douman lost his unpredictability, though, would we all really be here? Never (always?) change, Douman.

It seems like monster girls are becoming a trend, sweet

I guess all the world needed was a little time to catch up. Glad I lived to see it happen.

At this point, I'm just thankful it's over. It's like a huge burden off my shoulders.

Granted, now it's been replaced with the burden of waiting for epilogue chapters, but at least I can pretend that possibility doesn't exist for long periods of time.

What a life we live, huh.

Apparently, I have two options: fix my work ethic, or become a cute little girl.

Not sure which one is easier.
