Unwarned NSFW is kinda troublesome for images.
Especially since image list can also contain NSFW previews.

I am probably going to add a profile option to hide image thumbnails when an item contains a NSFW (maybe Echhi as well) tag, default will be off.

I dont know if this had been suggested, but I wonder if we can have a ratings system to judge doujins/manga/images/authors (from 0-5 or 0-10).

We considered this when we redesigned the reader, but turned it down. If we go into this area, it will be with a favorites system, connected with the Favorites reading list. I am thinking about in the future being able to view how many times an item has been favorited, and sort the directory by favorites count.

I will be adding reading list support for Images soon.

When I read something, last page will take me to the next doujin/chapter, there's even ability to select. Even if they're not plot-connected, I can still read, for example, every single Touhou doujin without going back to doujin list page.

But when I want to read all of Touhou images, I have to go back after reading each of them, and then open next one. Or open them in tabs then close.

Yes, I understand that, but right now there are some two-page stories there.

I am probably going to try to make the "next" button more promiminent (probably by putting a larger one under the image), but 1 page images are always going to be the focus.

Thats because your whitelist contains 3 tags that no chapter contains all 3 of.

When whitelist tags are set, chapters on the recently released and recently added page must contain ALL of those tags (and contain none of the tags on the blacklit).

I been wondering, we have some light novel translations like sono hanabira into english and I think there was a touhou one. should light novels be uploaded?

I am not opposed the idea in general, of expanding scope to other Yuri works besides manga. In fact we will be into another area in the next few days.

My main concern with light novels / fanfiction is I am not sure if there is enough content and interest to make a section dedicated for them.

Although, colors are somewhat tough for me personally, since I have slight ...not sure what it's called. Not exactly color-blindness, but those two colors are hard for me to distinguish.
Would it be possible to add something like + and x (or -) signs?

I implemented editing items on the viewing list page. There will be a checkbox next to each item, and a dropdown in the top right to move to another list or to remove it.

No, not in that form. It would be very out of place and a poor reading experience.

I was reading random manga on MangaFox (before I knew better), happened upon Girl Friends without knowing what it was about. Really liked it and read it all straight through. I went on chain reading anything I could find similar to it, leading me to eventually find out what "Yuri" was.

A few months later I graduated and was temporarily unemployed, so I decide to use my excessive free time seeing what this editing/scanlation that I saw in credit pages was all about. Was familiar with Dynasty from reading SK and saw they were recruiting editors, so I joined up with them and edited a slue of manga.

It was around 4 months after I joined that I started working on the reader. I was frustrated with that state of online readers at that time, and decided I could do better. So after ~4 weeks of spending all my free time coding up the reader, it was released to the wild. It took off and was way more popular than I ever thought it would be.

Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday, and I can't believe 3.5 years have passed since then.

omn, speaking of hitting Enter though, you might consider making Enter in the With/Without Tags fields not submit the search. If you're typing tags and pressing Enter to select them, the dropdown sometimes flickers out for a second and then your Enter press submits the search before you want to.

I changed it so it will only submit the form if the text field is empty. So you can still use enter to submit after you entered your tags, but you shouldn't accidentally trigger it anymore.

eee. i still do use download manager. it's faster that's why. but what's up with ^that o.O

They work by opening multiple connections at once to one file, so it can take more than its fair share of bandwidth. Because of that, I have no interest in supporting them.

Search function has problem with numbers. I was looking for 20, 21 and I had to use google to find it.

Its not with numbers really, but with words that are less than 3 characters long. Its a known limitation, affects a small amount of searches, and I don't really have a good way to workaround it atm. So for now its going to stay as it is.

To give an idea, around 35% of our traffic is from the US.

After that its Canada (5.6%), France (4.3%), Great Britain (3.7%), Germany (3.7%), Philippines (3.5%), Indonesia (2.1%), Australia (2.0%).

Would be real neat if I had one of those permissions to upload here, like reaaally neat.

Implemented cover view the the directory. There are buttons to activate it in the top right.

This is already the way it works. Images above a certain size are scaled down and converted to JPG for display unless you click the button to show the full image. I think the full size is still downloaded each time, though so that might not save any bandwidth.

The resizing is done all by your browser, so it doesn't save any bandwidth. When the reader was first created this was done on purpose. Since one of the issues we had with other readers of time was them converting everything to shitty JPGs.

Its on my list to implement something that will resize down the absurdly large images, into something more reasonable while still being very high quality (thinking 2000px tall).

Added a new option to the user profile to automatically add notified chapters to your To Read list. By default it is off.

When did you last download a chapter? By 8 per day, it is technically 8 per 24 hour period.

Im using Chrome, and yea, i'm the only internet user in this house.
Im using IDM to download files.

Stop using the download manager. Download managers work by essentially opening up multiple instances of the download at once, each of which counts against the 8 per day.
